      I bought my **** escape titanium hbrido plug in 2022 new ( 0 miles) in march 2023 in tropical ford in ******* . The car was sold to me as a car ( full electric 40 miles ) and hybrid . Since 2023 I took my car to Tropical Ford for several times for diagnostic and fix it and they gave me diferentes explication that it's no make sense to me and the problem was not fixed ... i bought this car for 40 miles electric car . My car was not fixed and still charge 35miles or drop the miles so fast . Nobody in **** is helping and say the computer looks ok since they seen the problem when the technician rode my car . I am spending too much money for a car cost ******k for not works like as sold to me . I really need that **** fix my problem or give back my money investing or change my car . It's my first time buying a **** car and I am very disappointed.

      The *** rates the vehicle will get between 0-38 miles on a full charge. A full charge using the supplied 120v charging cord takes approximately ***** hours. The range she is experiencing is determined by driving habits. As stated in Fords e-source book regarding the plug in hybrid technology (1) ***-estimated all-electric range is 0-38 miles. Based on full charge. Actual range varies with conditions such as external environment, vehicle use, vehicle maintenance, lithium-ion battery age and state of health. (2) 2.5L Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) front-wheel drive (FWD) ***-estimated range of 481 miles. Range calculation based on an 11.1-gallon tank (excludes reserve tank capacity), ***-estimated charge depleting electric range of 37 miles and combined city/highway label rating of 40 mpg. Actual range varies with conditions such as external environment, vehicle use, vehicle maintenance, lithium-ion battery age and state of health. If she would like she can come in a we could always work on trading her out of it if she is not happy with the vehicle. There is a learning curve to achieving optimal performance/range expectancies in all Hybrid/Plug-In/Battery operated vehicles.

      Save yourself a headache - go elsewhere for service. I took my 2017 Focus ST in for service because I noticed the brakes were sporadically seizing after coming to a full stop. I figured the Ford trained technician would be able to resolve my concern given Ford vehicles should be their expertise. When I arrived at Tropical Ford, I asked the Advisor to sit in the car with me while I demonstrate the issue. He took notes and told me to leave the car overnight so that they could properly diagnose the issue. The next day I receive a call explaining that the car would need new calipers, brakes, and rotors (~$1500) to repair the issue. I agreed, expecting peace of mind. When the repairs were completed, the shop was quick to take my money and send me on the way. I didn't even make it a block before the brakes began to seize again. I returned the vehicle to the shop and told them the issue was not fixed. The Advisor looked confused and went back to the garage to speak with a tech and explained to me that maybe it's the ABS control module which would cost another $1500-2000 to replace. You can imagine my outrage and frustration. I've already sunk $1500 on a service that did nothing and was probably unnecessary. And now I was expected to simply pay for their trial-and-error to resolve the problem because "maybe" it's the ABS control module. Why the ABS module on a vehicle with only 17k miles becomes faulty is also questionable. I've reached out to the dealer via their Contact Us form. Direct email and sent a letter to Ford corporate (because they dont have an email address). No response in over 2 weeks - that's how little they care about service.

      The Fixed Operations Director reached out to Mr. ********* and arranged to have his Focus brought in the very next day. We were able to determine the root cause of the concern and spoke with Mr. ********* and advised that we would not be charging him for the repair to the ABS module, in the interest of customer satisfaction. The part was ordered and installed and programmed by Thursday December 14th and subsequent test drives confirmed that the vehicle was in good running condition with no more braking issues. The customer picked up his Focus on Friday December 15th and test drove it before signing off that the brakes were now operating as designed.

      The customer's requested contact was not seen until days later due to the person that received that email was out of the office. As soon as we were made aware of Mr. *********** concern, we reached out to him right away and corrected his concern.

      I took our truck in for a turbo repair, a couple days later we get a call that it is ready. $7400 later we leave the dealership and get 7 miles down the road a realize we are leaking coolant. We take the truck back to the dealership and they inspect the turbo out and see that it has a leak in the turbo cooling line... I ask the service director if they were going to cover it and he stated they test drove it 20 miles and it wasn't leaking. Good thing we have GPS and when I told him he they went 1.9 miles he stated they let it idle for 20 mins. They want an additional $850 to fix the problem. The part is $120 and the rest is labor. I had to get the guys on the road so I told them to fix it. 37mins later the truck is fixed, that's with 10 min test drive. $730 for 30min of work is absolute robbery. I wouldn't recommend any company or private person take anything to them.

      We had a very bad service and dishonest experience at this Tropical Ford dealership, We took our vehicle for a recall service to check the door latches and ended up paying for something that it was damaged by their mechanic. The service manager refused to check their cameras to find out the details. We DO NOT plan to comeback to this dealership. Suggestion: Upon arrival, make sure your vehicle is fully inspected & checked by the service advisor to record the condition of your vehicle. After service is complete, check your vehicle for inside/outside damages.
