On July 12th, I signed a contract with Orlando Fun Party Rentals (OFPR) for 20 chairs and 3 tables. Please refer to the attached invoice. I spoke with ****, an employee of OFPR, and was informed that this order had to be paid via Zelle because it was for a pick-up. On July 19th, I called OFPR to confirm the pick-up time. **** told me that no one would be at the warehouse at 3 pm. She mentioned that she would be there until 12:30 pm, so I called my husband for help and he arrived at the warehouse at 12:15 pm. However, **** did not inform us in person or over the phone that we would not receive the refundable deposit due to arriving outside of the pick-up window.OFPR texted me on Monday, July 22nd to ask me what time I would drop off the items, and I replied at 3 pm once I finished my work for the day. They responded to inform me that 3 pm was outside the designated return time frame. I was not previously informed of any pick-up or drop-off time frame, nor did I sign a contract agreeing to such terms. When I dropped off the items at 12:15 pm, as confirmed by their video cameras, I was not informed that my refundable deposit would be forfeited due to being "late". At the warehouse, **** assured me that my items were accounted for and that I should expect my deposit by the end of the day or the next business day. However, when I inquired about the refundable deposit on July 23rd, I was informed that I would not receive it back due to not adhering to the pick-up and drop-off time frame. My husband picked up the items at 12:15pm on July 19th and I dropped off the items at 12:15pm on July 22nd. I did not return any of the items late. Also, a late fee or clause was not included in the contract I signed. I requested OFPR to issue a full refund of my deposit, but they insisted on only giving me half. I believe OFPR breached the contract, and I am seeking a full refund.
