I had the company repipe our whole house. Contract was signed on 3-13-2024 for $10,437.00.The company had KBR Plumbing as their subcontractor. During the digging of a new mainline, they broke two places on our irrigation line. They repaired them. When I went to turn that zone on,the pop-*** did not work. When I contacted our salesperson,he responded that is a irrigation problem, not a repipe issue.I explained that it was caused by your subcontractor. He said that he would contact his manager. I never heard another word. I then E-mailed the main office in Orlando. No response.

      Hello,

As of June 18, our FSM, *******************, attempted to reach out and follow up. At that time, the status was as follows:

The mainline was not on the ** contract with the customer. I spoke with KBR and they confirmed they completed a mainline on their own and hit the irrigation line. A crew member was sent out there for service and repaired the line. After repairing the lines, he spent two hours flushing the system - removing the sprinkler heads and allowing for debris to pass. According to this crew member, the irrigation system was working flawlessly when he left at that service appointment.

Please let us know if you more follow up is needed, or if the issue with the mainline was not resolved to your satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because:*********; Sweat  never  reached  to  us. After  talking  to our  salesperson,he said  that  he  would  talk  to  *********; and would  get back to us. The  person  who  repaired  was  the  KBR  installer  who  did our  house  repiping. H e was  already  here. The  system  was  never  working  flawlessly  after  he  nicked  two  spots.  To  this  day, only  a trickle  comes  out  of  that  zone.  Now  I  have  to  hire  an  irrigation  company  to  fix  the  problem that there  subcontractor  caused. Why doesn"t  *********; **********; come  and  see  for  himself.

      Sincerely,

Repipe Specialist was hired to complete a total repipe on my home in December, *************************************************************** February 2024 to complete the home repires. While to company was working to lay tiles in the bathroom they found whenere the waterline from the shower was not secured to the framing and stated that the repire was needed to keep the water from leaking inside the wall causing the tiles in both bathrooms to crumble within months.I contacted Repipe and they wanted me to pay $200.00 service call due to the work was completed past their 30 day warranty. I explained the situation and they still refuse to complete the work and they refused to give the contact number and name of the inspector who approved the piping for the work

I purchased an entire house repipe. Not only did an employee go thru my ceiling but they also cut about 10-15 holes more than they said they would do. They left pipe exposed instead of behind the walls. They had multiple delays and trying to get the person to finish the job was a nightmare. Now the pipes they installed are leaking and they claim it is not their responsibility. I would like the repairs to be made correctly. I would like a credit to my account for the additional charges and the inconveniences.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/04) */ It is true a worker fell through the customer's ceiling. It was an unfortunate accident and we reached an agreement with the customer in April to compensate her for the repairs. Regarding the number of holes that were cut; we certainly make educated guesses that we communicate to each customer. But, each house is different and some require more cuts than others. This customer's home has cinderblock walls that require additional cuts. Which brings me to the exposed pipes. Due to the cinder block walls we were forced to run the pipes exposed rather than in the walls. It is not true that we are not taking responsibility for the leak. The leak is at the main line entry point and may very well be something we are responsible for. It may very well be on her existing main line. The leak needs to be investigated. We have scheduled a tech to investigate the leak tomorrow, 11/5. This is the absolute earliest we can be there. If it is determined the leak is our responsibility the leak will be repaired per our Warranty. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2021/12/13) */ I do not now nor have I ever had cinder block. My house is a wood frame house. I have multiple pictures from the insurance and contractors who later found pre-existing termite damage. Termites do not eat cinder block by the way. Nevertheless this information from the pipe company is of course false. Additionally, the leak was from the same pipe they installed and they have yet to refund the $150. Taking more money after poor work Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2021/12/23) */ We collected a $125.00 deposit from the customer, not $150.00. I've asked our Accounting Dept. to refund it. It may take 5-7 business days to appear on her statement. Complaint Response Date bumped because: Holiday Consumer Response /* (2000, 16, 2022/01/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) the resolution was satisfactory
