Had a plumbing issue in the bathroom under the sink, the pipe drain was leaking it was an incomplete Job, Joe Came by removing drain never replaced it and we had a flood in bathroom, had to call another plumber, called to complain wanting a refund for $375 they don't answer phone now or return our call.

Customer called on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 for a busted pipe water coming outside of the home. All of our work is backed by a one year warranty on labor and parts are based off of manufacturer. Customer never called us to come back out if there was an issue with our repair. Customer only called back on August 9, after the fact she contacted another plumber and wanted a refund.Initial Complaint

I contacted Choice Plumbing to fix a leaking faucet on the outside of my house. I was told over the phone it would be $39.99 to come out and diagnosis the problem then be quoted the charge to repair. If I went ahead with the repair the $39.99 would be dropped. If I choose not to go ahead then I would be charged the $39.99 service charge. The tech determined I needed a new washer to fix the issue. I was NOT quoted a price for the repair. Common sense would say if he had quoted me $165.00 I would have canceled the order and paid the $39.99 service charge and done the repair myself. Also he didn't have the washer on his truck. He said he was new to the company and the truck they gave him wasn't stocked. I have tried calling the company four times. It rings eight times then hangs up. any help would be greatly appreciated.Business response

The technician is then to have you approve that quote prior to work being started or completed with a signature or like you said you can pay the $39 Service Fee and a quote will remain on your file for future reference. No other action would be necessary. We have recently just changed over phone systems and were having some issues at the end of August with receiving calls and making calls. You are encouraged to reach out to our email at [email protected] anytime day or night. When it comes to parts or tools for our technicians, they are responsible for letting us know what they are missing, and most cases can go get those utensils/tools from the local supply stores/warehouses in whatever area they're located. We hope that this message reaches you in time and that you'll give us another chance to make you feel like you made the right CHOICE!
