      On August 14 I put paid $760 deposit for the Paver job around the fire pit. August 16 **** came to my house with his wife to pick up $3000 check for the remainder of the deposit for the pavers around the fire pit. August 18 I reported to him that there was a low spot in the driveway that he had just paved. He told me he would fix that also. Also wrote August and September he told us the pavers were being delivered the next day. ****** never came and he never did the job. Hes told us repeatedly he would give us our $3760 back and he never has. I have documentation of everything. We have known **** for years. This is the first time hes ever stolen from us. This project is our personal home. He also needs to fix a low spot in our driveway that he paved weeks prior to this incident.

      On June 14, 2022 Direct Contractors completed installation of pavers at my home. The contract which is attached was for work covering 305 square feet. I had expressed to Alex, who collected the final payment that the area measured in the estimate is not totally completed. He measured it, agreed and even offered to put up my fence at no charge, if I brought one because of the mistake. He then told me he would reach out to Deborah, who wrote the estimate for a resolution. I had not heard from anyone so on June 18th I texted Deborah who basically gave me the run around by saying she would talk to Alex. Again no one contacted me, so on June 27th I texted Deborah again. Then on June 28th Deborah texted me again and said there is nothing wrong with my contract because it consist of the cuts and retaining wall. My issue is that is not how it was explained to me, when Deborah gave me the estimate every time she measured an area there was a cost, so I was being charged by the square foot, my estimate was for 305 square feet but they only installed 255 square feet and refused to fix the issue. I am requesting refund of 50 square feet because in my contract retaining wall and all materials are included whether the job was 150 feet or 305 feet, so Deborah's excuse she texted me back with did not make sense. I paid for 305 square feet of pavers, was led to believe that I was getting work completed for the price I paid at $10.81 per square foot but only received 255 square feet of pavers making my payment $12.94 per square foot and I did not agree to that meaning since they did not want to resolve in any other manner, I would like a refund of 50 square feet totaling $545.50. I did my math before approving the work using the information given to me in writing. If needed I have a copy of all the text communications from Deborah.

      I hired Direct contractors less then a year ago. Everything started of in the wrong foot, the communication was horrible, the workers damaged my neighbors property, everything took longer then expected, pavers are uneven, puddles everywhere. I was told I have a year warranty and have called over and over and Alex has not shown up after telling me he would. Till this day I still do not have my pavers corrected. This company is horrible and needs to be shut down for not complying with their contracts.

      We contracted with the company at the beginning of 2022 to install turf around our pool area. This job included the prep of the area and installing drains for water on the edge. Throughout the job there were many things done that we were left unsatisfied with and had to have them come back to fix such as: not tacking down the turf and the peeling up, turf was cut into multiple small pieces and placed in the area instead of a large piece, not cut on the edge of the house. These issues have been fixed however we have been left with 2 issues that we have contacted the company about multiple times that they have promised since February that they will fix. We stopped contacting the company in March as it's obvious they will not fix it now. So we are requesting a refund of the funds as we have to get another company to fix. One issue still remaining is that they left a sprinkler underneath the turf that when we turn on our sprinklers raises the turf and sprays water. The second issue is that they also installed a walkway with big stones in the turf and they were not adhered to the floor so they move and multiple have fallen on them due to this. We are requesting a refund of $1,000 to pay for fixes these issues with another company. Not only do we not trust that he would actually complete them at this point but we no longer believe they would even be done correctly.

      On 01/17/2022 We Entered on agreement With Direct Contractors / Alex S*****, and His Rep Debora They are to Do Resurface For our Pool at a cost of $7000, They Told us That the work will be done in Professional Manner and we will enjoy the summertime , and we had asked the the color of the resurfaced Pool will be black , once done The Color Was Not Black It was Blue we asked Why , They said Do not worry The color will Change to Black after Brushing With Good Brush , Then few days Later The Pool Was Losing Water was Leaking , after So Many calls and many Promises Made we will be there tommorow and so Many Tommorrows They Came Back and The excuse was His Wife Had a heart attack , neverthless we were still hoping That They will Fix The problem , The Team That was doing it I think are unlicensed and Unproffessional , There words Were Do Not Worry , We will Do It Right This Time , I Was Furious , you mean You did Not Do It Right at First Then They Did The second Resurface and It was Just as Bad , It was Black But There are Spots with Different Collors , again They said With Good Brush for a month time It will be all The same Color , But A lier is a lier And wants You to Believe The Lies , They are a scam , and I want a refund of My $7000.00 That I feel were Stolen By Not Doing What is Right , Our Hard Earned Money was Taken For Not Even Do a minumum Of standards still They Will Not answer Phone calls and They will go On To scam another Hard working Family

      We started this job with DIRECT CONTRACTORS LLC on September 1, 2021 & it is STILL NOT complete. Since then we have not been able to use our patio due to the extremely poor job that was done. This has been one of the most awful experiences dealing with this company. They are a SCAM! We have requested they come back out dozens of times. They say they guarantee their work for a year but have yet to complete the initial contract! Recently they did send someone on a weekday at 4:30pm who stayed for 5 minutes and did nothing but evaluate & leave. We even received a text from the owner ALEX A********* D*************** that was meant for another client stating he would try to come back out to fix the issues they were having. So clearly this is a TREND with them! SOME OF THE ISSUES: -I am tripping over the uneven pavers. -I have puddles every time it rains because the drains are clogged with the sand -cut the pavers so they don't line up evenly with the edges of my patio properly -outside drains raised are loose -There is sand already missing out of half the grooves of the pavers -Half the pavers are eroding -left cement all over my pool tiles -never painted the skimmer cap -broke my sprinklers -used poor quality materials and charged me for top quality -left trash & cigarettes throughout property PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, unless you want to live a nightmare.
