We accidentally paid amount into his account. Via Internet banking. Have tried calling emailing ect. Our bank has also tried calling the will not answer or return our money. They are fully aware of the situation.Business response

I find this scenario rather confusing, troublesome and extremely annoying.
Although I did not remember this guys name at the time, I do remember speaking to him on the phone in early December. I even think I looked up the account number and stated it was an operating account and there would be no issue in getting funds back if it was mistakenly paid. I instructed him to contact the office at ****** Services or to send the details to the office mailing address . He stated he would do that after the holidays. That was the last time I heard from him.
Then on Feb 28th I received a Notice to Appear and recognized the name as the same one my daughter mentioned couple of weeks prior - "some guy named *********" knocking at my home stating "I owed him money". Then the same guy returned and was banged on the door incessantly again a few days later, scaring the **** out of the young girl., She called me and I told her to call the police and have them hold him there and I would be there in 20 minutes.Unfortunately they just asked him to leave and left no details. Turning up at my home was extremely inappropriate.
The notice had an email address for him and I immediately emailed him asking him if he wanted to wait until the notice date or if he wanted payment right away - he did not respond. So since I still had no banking details or wire instructions I had to contact the bank treasury ***** , open a case, go to the branch and then follow up with written authorization to "send back to where ever the funds came from" - basically a 'blind transaction.In short this guy is a fool, as in who sends $3400 to a wrong account ???? ..we do several wires a month and each time the bank will ask at every stage to check the name and account number we are sending to - as wires do not get returned like a check does.
Hopefully I will never hear from this idiot again.
