I met with contractor and owner of Natoli Homes, LLC in **************************** **********************, in May 2022 to discuss the remodel of our existing finished Florida room and extension of Master Bedroom. After receiving his written estimate of $22,500, I hired him. He sent me a draw schedule for the work and a contract which I signed on August 8, 2022. I paid him a $7500 deposit to pay engineer, **************************, of ******************** LLC to draw up the plans and submit them to the county. He told me that ****************** fee was approximately $4500. The remaining $2500 was for initial demo, permit fee, etc as stated under the first draw on the fee schedule document. October 2022, Mr. ********************** did the initial demo of the Florida room. I was told by Mr. ********************** that the permit would be granted within 2 days. Around this time, he dug the trenches for the foundation of the new structure. About two weeks after, Mr. ********************** told me that he wanted to order the concrete block needed for the project, so I gave him the second draw amount of $5000 to cover that cost as listed on the fee schedule document. He said he was expecting the County inspection in a couple of days. However, after numerous excuses over the period of Jan 2023 to Jan 2024, I informed Mr. ********************** that he was in breach of contract and to return my money. He told me via email on Feb 1, 2024 that he had no problem returning it. However, I never heard from him again. I sent him 1 follow-up email Feb 16, 2024 and he was also served by my lawyer. He did not respond to either. I feel Mr. ********************** committed fraud and his license should be revoked. I can provide supporting documentation upon request.
