On Friday, November 11, 2022 I visited the Own It Now website to place my order for a 75 inch tv. In searching on the site, I choose a Hisense 4k UHD *********** As I checked out, it gave me its 'Scary Deals! **************** You Pick! (payment due at time of delivery)' chooses are: 1. Pay One Week, Get One Week; 2. Pay Two Weeks, Get Two Weeks; 3. $10 Pays First Week; 4. $25 Off First Month. I picked 3-$ 10 Pays First Week and went through the rest of the order procedure online. After submitting my order, it sent me email receipt with total due today of $0.00 and $10 (plus tax and fees) due at delivery. After not hearing from the store at all concerning my order, I called the next day to see what was going on. I was told that the tv I ordered was not in stock at there store and they would have to place order for a ** 75 inch tv which was located at another store and that I would have to pay $150 for the first month before delivery. When I informed them of what was on their website and the option giving for the $10 the first week payment upon delivery. I was told that that did not apply to the electronics (tvs to be exact in this situation). I then informed the csr that was not on there website at all and that my receipt only stated that $10 would be paid upon delivery for the first month. The person put me on hold to go talk to his manager and then came back and stated that the statement concerning payment of first month for the tv was listed at the bottom when I placed my order. I then pulled up the website while I had him still on the phone and told him that was no where on the screen. After informing him of that, he then changed it and stated that it was listed in the 'Terms and Conditions". I have read the complete terms and conditions on the website and it is not stated there either. So I proceed to ask him if own it now does not honor what they have on their website and that would be considered as false advertisement. (more to write on complaint)

Here at Own It Now we strive to ensure every customer experience with us is a pleasant experience. Whether it is in Store or shopping on our Website we look forward to meet all customer expectations. However there are times when like other retailers we fall to the mercy of supply chain issues. At times due to situations outside of our control we are unable to 100% meet all in stock levels that are on the website.
We look forward to you stopping into any of *********** locations to resolve your situations. Please stop by any location and ask for the Store Manager and each one will be happy to meet or beat your guest experience expectations.

July of 2022 I spoke to Dale S***** who was my current manager at own it now and I informed him that I will be ending my position at the company in August 2022. I did not feel comfortable putting in an official resignation letter with the company because of how the district manager Cal E****** spoke about an employee who decided to leave the company indicating that he did not have no choana's along with other comments of other employees made by multiple managers. I was with the company for over 8 years. My last day employed with the company was 8/27/22. On 8/26/22 I reached out to Cal E****** and advised him to come to the store Located in Casselberry because it was my last day. Cal convinced me to work one more day on 8/27/22 and I did. He informed me that he will be in at 1pm on 8/27/22 and at time I was going to leave. Cal called after 2pm to see how I was doing, and I informed him that he needs to come pick up the keys for the store because I need to leave. When he arrived at the store, he called another Manager Bill L**** and found out that I'm leaving to start my own business. Cal began to slam things around in the office. When the customer that was in the store at the time left Cal walked beside me and said give me the keys. The keys was on the counter and began to walked out the store. He asked If I'm sure I want to do this and said he would never forget this. He stated that now I have to work until 11pm and I stated that I have worked my days off, stayed late, and came to work early and never missed a day besides when my son was sick in the hospital in the 8 years I have been with the company. He said well I'm not you and your not me and we treat you that way because your spineless. He told me to get the F out his store and was picking up something as if he was going to hit me. He stated this company is going to do well without trash like you and I hope you do well in your little van business.
