  Unfortunately my recent experiences dealing with this company have been ABISMAL to say the least. I called them because the leak in my roof that they had repaired returned in the exact same spot. I was WELL within my 1 year guarantee for the repair. I had to call 6 different times and hound them to come out, the older man I spoke with was RUDE from the start and on our first call was immediately defensive and stated that "if it's not from the same leak they won't fix it." Nevertheless, I ignored that and gave him the benefit of the doubt. He kept making appointments with me to inspect then wouldn't show up. When I would call back, he would say "oh I forgot all about you." Completely unprofessional, however I continued to be polite. The man got upset trying to enter my community, which he has been in a few times as I foolishly recommended this company to my neighbor across the street, WHO IS ALSO having issues again with her roof and he is ALSO dodging her calls. He sped through the guard gate with his car and called me stating "it was my fault for not answering the phone" and our security guards were already calling the police to remove him when I called to stop them. No idea why he did that, as his company was listed on my approved visitors list... When he arrived I again reminded him that we had been previous customers, and his son had been the one to carry out the initial repairs. He accused me of lying to him during my initial phone call, claiming I didn't tell him this was a re-repair of their previous horrible job, WHICH definitely wasn't the case. He barely inspected, did NOT go into my attic and barely got on the roof. He was here for maybe 15 minutes in total and told me I would have to pay ANOTHER almost thousand, claiming that my solar panels were the cause of the issue. Meanwhile there is no other leak in my roof under the solar panels anywhere else. THE KICKER was that the... FULL DESCRIPTION ATTACHED AS DOCUMENT

Customer was advised that the Guarantee only covers the area that is actually repaired by American Quality Roofing , and is voided if ANYone works on the roof OTHER than our co. The Solar unit is installed DIRECTLY over the area that was repaired by A.Q.R. After the fact I was requested to visit the location(19 months later) and was not told that the solar unit was installed aproximately on month AFTER the repair was compleated. As such the warrantu was Voided at the time that max authorized the roof to be penetrated by the solar install. Quite frankly this person was LESS that respectively honest as he did not tell me that he was installing the solar and repairing DIRECTLY on top of the repair that A.Q.R. accomplished untill 10 months AFTER the unit was installed AND deceitfull at that. Therefore I am reportating that the warranty bis VOID , *** admitted the previous information to me and the repasir is NOT coverd under his warranty. In response to Mr. Z********'s claims. I find it strange that this business does not keep records appropriately. Mr. Z******** did not make the repair on my home, his son/employee did. November of 2021 was not when this repair was done it was December of 2021, which according to my calculations was not 19 months prior. Mr. Z********'s son was told about the solar panel installation during the consultation. That was the reason we were having our roof repaired in the first place as it's a requirement before installation, so obviously that was very clearly stated prior. Mr Z******** would know that if he were actually the one who had completed the repair, which he was not. At no such time was it ever mentioned to me that my solar panel installation ADJACENT to the repair made would void warranty on the completely untouched roof repair site. There was no dishonesty, once again it is Mr. Z********'s responsibility as a roof repair professional and business owner to ask roof related questions to customer wishing to have his work reevaluated and inspected. The solar panel does NOT penetrate the roof repair. I can provide plenty of photos if necessary attesting to that. If Mr. Z******** was unable to complete the repair properly, nor do a proper re inspection of the problem to truly define what caused the leak to start again. I wish for a refund due to services non rendered. Once again at the time of the incident I had no other roof damage besides where Mr. Z********'s company completed their "repair." It is unacceptable for a business to pick and choose when their advertised and guaranteed warranty is voided without giving all the facts to their customers. Mr. Z********'s unprofessionalism speaks for itself. Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/10/26) */ There is no warranty on this repair since it was voided By the neglance of the Customer by allowing the solar unit to be installed by the solar Co. without our knowledge or assistance. Proper proceedure is to contact our office in writing to schedule a repair person to seal the penetrations of the unit. The contract Clearly states that the warranty is voided if ANY-one works on the repaired section other than our mechanic. Furthur after speaking to Joshua our employee it was determined that he DID NOT tell ANYONE at the residence that is was acceptable practice to install a solar unit directly over a repaired area under warranty without our mechanis present to properly waterproff the area of penetration.
