It is unfortunate I have to give 1 star instead of zero. I was mandated by my insurance company to utilize this pharmacy for a "specialized medication" that had been filled through a local pharmacy without issue for over 10 years. Now, it has taken over 5 phone calls to Alliance RX, three to my insurance provider, two to my primary care doctor and 2 to my neurologist and I am now missing doses of a medication that I could have picked up last week from my local pharmacy, but was not allowed to by insurance due to Alliance RX being unable to complete the prescription and mail in a timely manner. This is a HORRIBLE company!! You cannot auto refill and have medication sent to you without multiple phone calls MONTHLY! Forget the days of picking up your script at the local pharmacy without calling ahead to "schedule delivery". This company is going to cause patients to miss doses of their prescribed medication monthly. Great job paying out to ********** in whatever incentive you did to lower the patience experience and attempt to cause harm to patients by missing doses of medication. If you are forced to use this company, pack your patience and make sure you drop everything in your life once a month to receive their call or you won't get your meds. Also, make sure you schedule ***** minutes for that monthly call as you sit on hold.Review from Joseph C

This pharmacy *****. It seems like every other month. I need to get my medication for my type. 2 diabetes and I have trouble. They're always telling me that they need to re. Check with my insurance company. Then my Doctor's ****** and then my insurance company again. And then the Doctor didn't do the prescription correctly. And my insurance company didn't authorize the prescription. Which is BS we have record showing That it's always been done correctly. And how am I supposed to get better when I can't get my medication. I take it for a month. Maybe 2 months tops and then I have to wait a month for everything to get settled for them to give me my prescription again. This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy. I've ever dealt with, but unfortunately, because it's a specialty medication. I have to go through the specialty pharmacy. It's a headache every time. I don't understand how I'm gonna get better. My type 2 diabetes is gonna eventually turn in the type one because of this pharmacy. I wish we could file. A lawsuit against them because I'm sure a lot of people cannot get better because they can't get their medication because of this pharmacy.Review from SA A

They wait until the very last minute to send prescriptions out and it takes 5 to 7 days to receive the prescriptions. At times, my mother has only had one pill left! That's b*******! I have to set up all my mother's prescriptions so as soon as the prescription comes in I have to run over there and set them up for her no matter what else I'm doing!Review from Stephanie h

I have been forced to switch to Alliance specialty pharmacy by BCBS ******** and they are TERRIBLE! There has been issue after issue getting my prescription denied delivered. Both myself and my doctors office have spoken with them almost every day for a month and still I have yet to receive my shipment. I was told "GUARANTEED " delivery by 4/02. I checked my status and now my medication is "out of stock" and no expected restock/delivery date has been given. This is now month 2 that I will be without my medication.Review from Catherine P

This is the worst place I've ever dealt with. Trying to fill my Rx has been a huge nightmare!! After being on the phone with them 4 different times to get everything in order, they now say I owe over an $800 copay!! My copay was always $15 month at the store. They're telling me that my credit card needs charged over $800, then when it ships, they will apply the coupon & give me a credit back to my credit card. That's the most ridiculous thing I ever heard! I will not have my credit card charged that much. They also are telling me this over the phone. Nowhere do I have this in writting so who's to say they will actually credit my card or if I'll be out all that money. The store always applied the coupon first then I paid $15. I hate speciality pharmacies, what makes you so special with your stupid call center and your dumbass robot answering machine. The robot doesnt understand what speak to a representative means. And for the love of ****** can we put some competent people on the phone. Ive been waiting for my IUD for over a month, and you guys never once told me you were sending me paperwork i had to wait for to sign in the mail. Told me that they were going to call me back to confirm the shipment. Like the reason why we have these problems is cause yall dont ship people their IUDs on time. This could all be prevented but i know its all apart of your corporate capitalism ponzi scheme to create more poor babies to work for the pharamaceutical companies that dont work with your insurance. I mean you guys are better than Acaria health so for that ill give you one star.Review from Lorrie M

I am starting a new Medicare Advantage plan that is effective on 01/01/24. I wanted to verify that Walgreens AllianceRx accepted this insurance so I can plan ahead and not risk a delay in my prescriptions. I called the number and it took about 15 minutes to just get through the painful automatic voice. I finally get a pharmacy tech on the line, I wish I would have gotten her name. She could not have been more disinterested if she tried. She yawned, mumbled and truly did not care whether I would be a potential customer. I asked her “Yes ma’am I am trying to verify that you accept my insurance that is effective the first of the year”. She replied, “YAWN…I guess I can register you if you want.” I explained 3 more times that the insurance wasn’t in effect yet & I had already registered online. She then replied, “Oh. Well then you will have to wait until January”. I again explained the need to know now as I am disabled & have to have mail order pharmacy delivery. She said, “Contact your new insurance and ask them”. I said “I did but as with most companies they want me to use their mail order pharmacy & I wanted to use Walgreens.” She replied, “YAWN…then I don’t know what to tell you.” They absolutely have lost the opportunity to have me as a customer. I stopped using Walgreens pharmacy about 25 years ago because of the incompetence & lack of caring by Walgreens. I thought in 25 years time they would have certainly improved their customer service exponentially. I was wrong. They don’t care, aren’t friendly and don’t want your business. All she had to do was look at their computer and see if they accepted my new plan. She didn’t want to make that effort so I will find a company that will.Review from Kathy B

This pharmacy needs to be out of business. Twice now they cancelled my prescriptions because they didn't have in stock and never informed me, even though I'm signed up for text messaging and alerts. Customer service is horrible and they don't even know how to pronounce, let alone know anything about any drugs. The reps can't seem to get their stories straight. Incompetence is beyond question. Walgreens needs to major overhaul in their Mail order. I think they prefer you go to a brick and mortar pharmacy because they make more money that way, so little effort is invested in their Mail order division.Review from Jessica K

I am disgusted by the negligence and game playing. I showed up for my asthma meds, was informed that I did not speak to a pharmacy. He most creepily and reluctantly explained that unfortunately the call center intercepts our calls!!! I cannot breathe born w pneumonia and spent 3 weeks in an oxygen tent. I called Saturday ?? and just got my inhalers. I am not sure how they play favorites on patient priority. I clearly saw that they tore someone's name off my scripts. So what you're telling me is that there are random people answering questions about medicine and drugs especially narcotics?Review from Susan J

My experience with this pharmacy has been a very negative one on a new prescription. I have never used them before. I filled out all the information that was needed. They received my script on 11/09/23. It is now November 17, 2023. They were supposed to contact me within 48 to 72 hours. I contacted them today and found out that they cannot fill my script because they are not contracted with my insurance. This sends me a strong message that they only care about the money. Since they were not going to make money off of me, they didn’t want to take the time for one of their employees to make a simple phone call. Where is the customer service?
