Five years ago (July 13, 2018) my husband and I started the process of selling our timeshare property through International Vacation Resorts. We paid $1,495 for their services. (Ad # ****** *** *******) Since then we have reduced our price and even signed up for "rent with option to buy" in March of 2021. In the five years we have not had even ONE offer for a sale or rent. There were many assurances that our property was being advertised in several locations. In March of 2022, we requested a refund and were then referred to a manager who promised to take our account personally. (but didn't promise a refund) . Since then, it has been impossible to reach the manager or get a return call. We have kept meticulous records of all the communications we have had with IVR over the 5 years. Although there is a contract , we believe that IVR has not even attempted to provide the service they promised and has avoided any discussion of a refund. At this time, we are hoping to get a refund of our $1,495 with your help. Thank you. ****** *** *** ******

They were to sell my timeshare and charged me $1750 for use to provide potential customers free stuff for promotion. They have not been in touch and their voicemail box stays full. I have followed up multiple times and they will tell me the next event but then nothing happens. This was March 2021. I don't think they are going to sell my timeshare.

We signed contract with them on 12/5/2020 to sell our timeshare for us. For this we paid them $1,064.00. Last July I contacted them to lower the selling price and they complied. We have decided that they are not able to sell the timeshare and per the contract requested the refund of monies paid in writing. First request sent 6/6/2023 and second request one week later. Today I called and the system answered saying that no one was available and to leave a message. I waited for the greeting to finish and the automated system said the mailbox was full. I fear that they have gone out of business taking our money with them.

On January 10, 2022, I listed my timeshare to rent, or sell preferably. Gave them my credit card for $1000.00 and waited, and waited until I tried everything, left a message without a return call, called numerous times. Sent emails, and now no answer and mailbox is full! What is this, a closed failing company? A scam artist taking advantage of elderly folks who live on social security only? I want my money back! All I have is a bank statement to prove purchase.

i paid to have my timeshare sold and was told it is guaranteed to sell. If not, I would get a full refund of my $2,000. The telephone I was given is **************, Amy, contract # ****. Answering machine comes on and tells me all agents are busy now. I have been leaving messages for over six months, regularly. I never get a call returned.

I inadvertently filed a complaint with the Complaint # ******** but had confused this company name with ************* ****** ***** **** ******* ** *** **** ******** *******. The complaint should be for the misrepresented promises made by International Vacation Resorts, **** **** ******** ****** *** **** ******** ******** *****. I was contacted by IV Resorts on 10/21/2021 about their promising to sell my timeshare at Massenutten and was told that our resort was one being sought by ready and willing buyers. The total fee was $1698 which they charged upfront to my card. After a few days, I felt this was a too-good-to-be-true situation and I called back to recind my purchase well within the cancelation period. The sales rep talked me into keeping my status, as they would be submitting offers to me regularly very soon and I could accept or chose to decline any presented offer. I was also told that if it was an unheard possibility that there was no successful sale, that IV Resorts would absorb the cost and allow a second year to sell Massanutten at no additional charge to me. I was told their job is to receive a successful close quickly, as it would be an additional charge coming from the sales persons pocket, and they never allow that failure. I have contacted them numerous times over the past 1 and 1/2 years and have not been contacted in return. I just filed a dispute with my credit card company and now I'm told that IV Resorts told them I only paid for them to market my timeshare for sale. They have convinced my credit card company they honored their obligation to me as they had my timeshare listed as promised. I NEVER WOULD HAVE AGREED TO THIS REDICULOUS STIPULATION, AS I HAVE OVER 30+ YEARS SALES EXPERIENCE AND WOULD HAVE MARKETED IT MYSELF!! This a company that totally misrepresented their promises and were only interested in collecting their $1698. They are a complete scam, lied to me and assured me of NO WORRIES, as a sure sale would be happening very soon!

On December 10, 2021 we signed an agreement where IVR would sell our timeshare. We paid $1498.00 and they said they would be able to sell or rent our timeshare. They said they would keep in contact with the status of our timeshare but we have not heard from them since. I emailed them and they have not replied. I have requested a refund of the money we paid.
