In 2022 i paid Select Travel Options $2999.00 to list my timeshare for rent or sale and as of today, it is still not sold and has not been rented. When I call to ask the status, I'm always told the same thing and I should be patient.It's been over 2 years and no activity. My most recent call, I requested a refund of my $2999 since they have breached the contract. They don't want to give my money back so I'm told they are still advertising my timeshare.I said I don't want you to do anymore advertising, I just want a refund, contract states that if they cannot make a sale I get my money back. It's all a lie, I been robbed by Select Travel Options LLC. Even though i eventually got out with the help of a credit debt management called IG:H4Xcreditsolutions .I still had to pay a lot out of pocket . The contract is now dissolved thanks to H4XCS, but i'll like a refund from this company cause it's only right.Initial Complaint

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Select Travel Options LLC regarding false claims made by their sales representative and their failure to provide the services as promised. On 8/5/2022, during a telephone conversation, the sales representative assured me that if the company was unable to rent out the weeks after the advertisement, I would receive a full refund of the amount paid. However, since that initial conversation, I have not received any proof of advertisement from Select Travel Options LLC, and despite numerous attempts to reach out for updates, the sales representative has consistently avoided picking up calls or providing meaningful responses. It appears that Select Travel Options LLC has failed to fulfill their promise of actively trying to rent out the weeks of my timeshare and generate profits exceeding the amount I paid, leading me to believe their actions may have been deceptive. Despite my efforts to address this issue, they have failed to provide any satisfactory resolution or explanation, prompting me to consider seeking legal counsel to explore my options for recourse. Therefore, I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure Select Travel Options rectifies their deceptive practices and provides the necessary refunds or services as promised.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract in November 2022 for the company to sell/rent a few vacation weeks. I have called many times since then and was only told they have not received any offers, which is why I waited to submit a claim. Since then, I've learned the website is no longer valid and the phone is disconnected. I have not received a refund nor any communication regarding the vacation rental. This was obviously a scam and I would like to get a refund! Looking at all of the comments, I believe this is a criminal act and warrants jail!Initial Complaint

Shortly after my wife and i purchased a timeshare in ********* during our honeymoon, I began to receive calls from companies claiming to be able to advertise AND sell weeks of vacation to those seeking. The company would advertise, then send us the offers. This is one of three companies I paid money to advertise and sell weeks for. The only thing I had to do was pay for the advertisment fee up front, which varied depending on the amount of weeks I wanted to advertise. Then supposedly, I just needed to wait for the offers to come in. Unfortunately, I never received any legitimate offers. I did get a few emails saying they had found offers but even more unfortunately I was told that it was up to me to find the availability of the places THEIR customers were seeking to purchase vacations for. This was not the process they explained to me at all. Eventually I stopped receiving return phone calls from them in all. Like an idiot, I fell for this same routine with not 1, not 2, but 3 different companies. I am filing a separate complaint against all three companies with the BBB to help gain reimbursement for money that was paid for services not rendered. Each of them had nice words and fancy promises but none of them delivered legitimate offers, all had poor customer service, and they all refused my requests for refunds after calling. I am still not getting any offers either.... Please reach out to me if you need any additional information. The day 4/24/2023 Select Travel Options supposed to be able to rent my timeshare, I payed over $3000, first somebody answer my calls but after 2 months the telephone is not working the same with the emails. The property ID ******* spoke with Agent: ***** who assured me that they would rent my timeshare at the showcase taking place the 1st week of May 2023 thats been almost a year ago. Please help me I need my money back, help me, I said my bank its a scam but they cant help me. ThanksInitial Complaint

This company reached out to us in August of 2022 offering to advertise our property for rental. We have a signed agreement on file, account *******. They sent us a few offers but they were so far off of what we were advertising. Of only a few offers none panned out. The last correspondance received was in January of 2023. We have heard NOTHING since. No, your time is up, no other offers, nothing. Just zero correspondance. During this time we are contacted by yet another company for the same thing with about the same happening. Lots of phone conversations about how the don't take properties to advertise that they can't rent but we have rented nothing. We paid $999 and saw nothing in return. Should never have done this. I really feel we were scammed. I have examples of emails I can share.Customer response

I did reach out to the company again jsut before emailing you and this came back at me. The email I had for them is no longer valid.
It is easy for me to email them but Iw ill try to call as well. I just wonder if they even exit anymore?
