Had elderly family fly in for visit to MCO. They took a taxi using quick cab to our address. He was shown a piece of paper with the address on it and told verbally. The taxi driver missed the exit, then continued to drive them 35 miles to a completely different address. Instead of fixing the mistake and taking them to the correct address, he took them to McDonald's on I drive at their request because he could not find the correct address and this felt like a place he should hopefully know. The taxi driver then continued to tell them my grandmother and aunt would be charged for ALL time in the taxi as it took over an hour and a half. He changed the price multiple times. I videoed everything once I got to the McDonalds and have the video evidence of him stating he knew the original address was approximately 11 miles from the airport as well as he knew the total would be less than 60$. We finally paid 100$ to get him to leave and after looking up "what to do" on google. He quoted prices from 100$ to $160. His. Meter stated 126$. However this was him driving an additional 20+ miles one way away from our apartment. After googling this company I've noticed some other posts like this. They are taking advantage of tourists and several complaints regarding elderly. The video is 9 minutes long and would not load on here. Please contact for video.Business response
