Subject: Warning Do Not Sign Up with Global Resort Options Dear anyone out there do not sign up with Global Scam Resorts I am writing to strongly advise against signing up with Global Resort Options. Based on my experience, this company is not a legitimate or reliable operation. Their marketing is ineffective at best and, at worst, a complete sham. They promise services like selling or renting out your timeshare for an upfront fee$4,000 in my casebut once they have your money, they vanish. I have not heard a single word from them since paying, despite the transaction being tied to my business, which allowed me to write it off as a loss on our income. While the tax write-off mitigates my financial pain, the principle remains: Global Resort Options does not deliver on its promises. It fails to follow up, provide updates, or offer any semblance of customer service. In my opinion, it is nothing more than scammers preying on people with false hopes of timeshare solutions. Save yourself the frustration and moneydo not sign up with it.Business Response

While your feedback is important to us and we value your input; we respectfully disagree with this assessment as it misrepresents the quality of our services. Your account was enrolled July 2nd, 2024 for the marketing and advertising of the ******** ownership. We have maintained an open line of communication for you as we have contacted you July 8th, 2024 with an update on your account; July 15th, 2024 with your Welcome Information; August 19th, 2024 with an update on the account; and on September 5th, 2024 with an offer we did receive for your account. The offer, in fact, was for a 7-day stay and the only reason it was not confirmed is that your property is only a 3-day match rental property. While your ownership is the last property of the resort chain that is still on the week system, we still delivered with speed and accuracy. We have also attached a copy of the original offer for your reference. To further elucidate, we have assigned your account to the Senior Client Liaison, **** *********. Our *************** team will contact you so you may connect with **** at your earliest convenience.Customer Answer

I am rejecting your response for the following reasons:
The service you provide through Global Resort Options is a complete scam. Your failure to acknowledge that our timeshare (TS) offer is exclusive to weekends onlyor even clarify whether its a sale offerdemonstrates your blatant lack of engagement and accountability. This is precisely why I urge everyone to steer clear of signing up with Global Resort Options: they demand payment upfront and deliver absolutely nothing in return.
I intend to spread the word about this experience far and wide. I will be posting dozens of notices across multiple platforms, including Sitejabber, Ripoff Report, Trustpilot, ****** Reviews, Meta, and many other outlets, to ensure the entire internet knows about your deceptive practices. Alternatively, you can simply refund the money for the job you never completed, and Ill reconsider amplifying this warning.
Thank you.Customer Answer

On Feb 10, 2024, I paid Global Resorts Option a $3995.00 money back guarantee fee to rent/market for sale my ******* property to its corporate client community. Like others I was told "we always have corporate clients needing properties like yours". Initially I requested to cancel my contract. After 3 attempts, between the day of purchase and Feb 16, 2024 (6 days later), I received email acknowledgement of the cancellation request on Feb 16, 2024. The request lead to a convincing conversation with one of the sales representative( who's name I will withhold for now) resulting in me rescinding my cancellation. Which was not a wise decision. I had one offer presented 4/1/24 (shortly after making contact to check status of my account). ********************** Name: Club ************** Blue Requested Unit Size: 2/2 Requested dates: 06/07/2024 - 06/14/2024 Rental Offer Value: $1,200.00 The requested property was not available for the period requested. It was also presented for $1200 when my contract was for $1500 for time period. I do not consider this a valid offer. I have no proof that the property was marketed for sale in any way. I extended my contract prior to the 90 day period and was told I did not have to "worry about doing this again" after I complained of not realizing this was a part of the contract. I feel Global Resort Options has some built in mechanisms to ensure they do not honor their money back guarantee policy which I feel is an intent to defraud. The deviations in fees charged seem somewhat questionable. The preceding two statements are strictly my feelings and not a legal claims nor verified facts.Business Response

Your feedback is important to us. However, we do not believe this statement fairly represents our services or standards. You were initially contracted for a rental amount of $1500 negotiable. Once your Owners booking fees such as guest certificate check-in fees are subtracted, your Net Rental Value is $1149 which is $51 less than the $1200, after fees, offer we sent you. The part we find saddening is many valued Owners who are in other programs for multiple years receive no offers and you have, in fact, received offers. We pride ourselves to Global Resort Options obligation to always fulfill. We have assigned your account to the Client Liaison team who will be contacting you to provide further insight and clarity of your account.Initial Complaint

Im only putting 1 star because I HAVE TO! This company is a total fraud and just want your money and nothing else. Dont fall for it. I am surprised that the state of ******* hasn't shut them down. I have called many times over the past several months and NEVER get calls back. The people on here putting positive comments are probably friends of the staff or owners. Back when we could get them on the phone, it was always the same excuse or lie. Several times they said "well we had an offer but it was too low, so we turned it down. AFTER my wife and I told them we wanted to know about all offers no matter the amount, but nope, never not a one of supposed offers. Another time they told me that our time share location was under construction, so i called them and they didn't know what I was talking about. Im now worried they have kept our money and closed the doors with no notice. Another time they were 100% caught in a lie and they refused to service our timeshare because my wife was harsh over the phone for taking up for our invested money. Florida should shut them down and force them to give back the money they took from people.Business Response

We reject this statement as we provided the service that you have registered for. To date, we have completed multiple offers for the account totaling more than $5,000 thus far that you have received for the rental of your property. Thus maxing out your rental earning potential until your anniversary cycle starts again. As a company we find it very disheartening and sad, you have received close to a 200% return since your enrollment when there are many companies out there who have taken taken advantage of Owners. We stand representing the complete opposite. For further clarity, we have assigned your Senior Client Liaison, **** *********, so he may resolve any disconnect.Initial Complaint

I entered into contract with Global Resort Options on June 1, 2024 for the amount of $7500.00. They were supposed to rent out my timeshare, a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit within my Wyndham Resort membership for $1500.00 a week. The sales *** that I spoke with said they had authorization from ******* to be able to see what inventory was available. *** would then contact me via phone and email when an offer was available. In writing on my contract they stated, Owner has (12) 1/1 units at $1,500 negotiable per week. VIP Access: Owner eligible for refund of the registration cost if (12) rental offers have not been presented within 6-months of the registration date. They presented me with 1 offer that was not able to be fulfilled because the unit was not available for the date at the resort they requested. The salesman stated that *** had access to availability information for Wyndham Resorts and would only send me requests for available inventory. The one offer did not go through. I was never notified of any other offers during the 6 months. Per my contract, I am eligible for a full refund of my $7500.00 registration fee. I talked to 2 ***resentatives from *** and was told that I do not qualify for a refund. Neither ***resentative could give me a valid reason why. I am requesting full reimbursement of my registration fee of $7500.00. I have all my documentation and correspondence from ***.Customer Answer

In January 31, 2024, my wife and I signed a contract with Global Resort Options for their advertising services of our timeshare. The contract stated that "If the owner is able to obtain an offer for sale or rental 12 months of the date of this contract which generates a rental / sale other than through the advertising efforts of ***, *** will refund 100% of the advertising fee to the owner." In December of 2024 I was able to rent my timeshare and have provided all the required documentation to ***. This is the last email that I received from them on September 18th, 2024:Hello *** and Mrs. *************** you for working with Global Resort Options. We have received the rental agreement and guest pass as provided. We will still need to have confirmation of the payment for the rental and the folio of the stay. The folio is issued by the resort at the time of the stay so this will not be available until December when the rental happens. We have made note of this for your account to qualify for the 12 month money back guarantee. Please provide us proof of the payment price for the rental and once you receive the folio during the rental period please provide us that file as well. If you do have any questions in the meantime or about the process, please let us know and we will schedule a call with our ************************* who handles these ************* *********************** Global Resort Options I have attempted to call and email the company several times since providing the documentation that they said I needed. I attempted to call them at least 4 times and left a voicemail, the recording stated that someone would be calling me back at their earliest convenience. The business didn't bother to call me, they chose to call my wife instead on January 16th, 2025. After speaking with the representative, she was told that a confirmation email would be sent with a tracking number for the check that would be mailed out, but to date we have not received that email. They did state that our account was in arbitration because I had filed a complaint with the BBB and they could not send the check until I updated the status of the complaint to indicate that we were working it out with Global Resort Options. I will not withdraw this complaint until I receive a check that clears my bank. If nothing is done to resolve this, I will have to take the matter to the States Attorney General for what steps I can take next.
Sincerely,

On July 5th, 2023, my wife and I signed an Advertising Contract with Global Resorts Options (GRO) for the rental of our timeshare and agreed to let them charge our credit card $4,195.00. In the contract under Property Information it states clearly: VIP ACCESS: Owner eligible for full refund if no rental completed within 6 months of the date of this agreement. Over the next 6 months we received 2 emails from the representative we had the phone call meeting with. 1st email (7/18/23) was the Welcome to *** with basically the ****** services phone number and our client number. 2nd email (8/18/23) was Updates from *** describing their concierge benefits and services. Neither email contained any rental offers. That was it. No messages. No emails. No offers. In January, after the 6 month was up, I contacted *** and exercised our rights via the contract agreement and asked for a full refund. On 01/19/2024 *** and I signed a Prorate of Mediation Release. In that document it states: *** agrees to a refund in the amount of $4,195.00 which will be credited to the Owners account pursuant to compliance of this agreement. Authorized refund shall be effective and processed within seventy-five (75) days, no later than ninety (90) days, upon the date of compliance to this agreement. Though they acknowledge that they owe us the money We can confirm that the mediation document is correct and a refund of $4,195.00 was agreed upon this past January *** been excuse after excuse. the processing was sent back due to an issue with that card ********************** stated that there was no refund attempt made by ***. I asked for a Certified check via ****** We are working to see if the shipper can be adjusted to ****** Any reputable company is well versed with using any logistic services not just ****. I believe that we have been more than patient with GRO in waiting for our $4,195.00 refund that is due to us in compliance of the Prorate of Mediation Release dated 1/19/2024.Customer Answer

In January 2023, I paid $5000 to Global Resorts Options to sell my Florida timeshare. They stated that they had numerous corporate clients seeking to rent and/or buy timeshares like mine and they would actively show the property and be in communication with me. In the nearly two years since they took my $5000, they have not presented a single offer; not even a bad one. On the occasions I have called to speak with the person handling my timeshare, they make excuses for why they have not performed as they advertised or simply do not return my call. I want to be refunded the money I paid.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Global Resorts Options states that my account had been deactivated after 90 days. However, here I provide a number of email communications with them well past that date where they relate to us that the account is being actively advertised. We were regularly attempting communication with them by email and phone over the course of the relationship and the emails prove that when we were able to get Global Resorts Options to respond, they claimed to be actively advertising the timeshare. The first email exchange was on April 4, 2023 in response to *************** describing the process of accepting an offer. In my (**** *******/son) response, I told Global Resorts Options that we wanted to lower the asking price to make the timeshare more attractive to potential buyers, which we did. Further emails from Global Resorts Options during the year stated that "the account is actively being advertised", so it is clear that we were in communication and Global Resorts Options at least said it was actively advertising the timeshare. Subsequent communications were made by telephone toward the end of 2023 and 2024. My mother (***** *******/account holder) spoke with a few Global Resorts Options representatives and specifically recalls conversations with Mr. **** A representative at the office told her that a Ms. **** would call her back but never did. My mother called Global Resorts Options this February to inquire about the account and why no purchasers have been presented. The staffperson looked up the account, as they always do, and explained that her timeshare was being redecorated, making it impossible to market during that period. He told her to call again in two months because sales would pick up in April and the redecorating would be complete. She did call in April and was told that her timeshare was being advertised. At no point, ever, did any Global Resorts Options representative look up my mother's account and tell her it was deactivated. Last week, before she lodged the BBB complaint, a representative from Global Resorts Options called and then hung up on my mother when she told her that she was frustrated enough to file a complaint. That rudeness, along with never having been presented with a purchaser in spite of expressing in communications a strong motivation to sell, informed the decision to file a BBB complaint.
My mother, ***** *******, is 92 years old, in poor health, and the widow of a war veteran. She is interested in moving this timeshare on, even at an extremely low price. I am confident that if Global Resorts Options is even half as good at connecting buyers with timeshare sellers as its salesman described when he told us how good Global Resorts Options is at connecting purchasers with timeshare sellers, it will have no problem moving her timeshare along in the circumstances I describe above.Sincerely,

Global Resorts Options claimed in an email that the account had been deactivated after 90 days and claimed here that there were 7 offers but they never contacted us because the account had been deactivated. I have provided emails between us and the company demonstrating that the account was active after the date that they now claim it had been deactivated (at least the company representatives were saying it was active, but perhaps they were deceiving us). Global Resorts Options charged $5000 to bring purchasers for the timeshare but never actually brought a single one, at any point. The company stopped communicating once the evidence was provided that the account deactivation justification for their failure to provide service was false. I continue to hold that Global Resorts Options owes me a refund of the $5000 I paid and caution others to look for another organization if they need to find a buyer for their timeshare.Initial Complaint

On 2/21/24 I signed a contract with Global Resort Options (GRO) in the amount of $4995 to either rent or sale my timeshareI was very skeptical but after hours of pressuring me I was offered a VIP Access. The VIP access states Owner eligible for full refund if no rental offer presented within 6 months of registration date I had tried to reach out to GRO many times and never received a callback I was very specific that my annual dues and RCI fees were not current. *** convinced me that didnt matter. All that I had to do is accept an offer and then I would be paid. A few months later I received an offer for an ******* Resort which is not owned be me. I called them and told them I was not the owner of this timeshare. *** said no problem. I replied YES to this offer. The next day they called me and asked me to get availability for the ******* timeshare and I couldnt because of RCI. That was only time I received an offer.Since there was no money exchange and *** knows that the offer would never lead to any money being exchanged in the bogus offer I would like a refund of $4995 Sincerely,*************************Business Response

We reject this statement as we strive to maintain our clients satisfaction in the completion of offers. I signed an agreement with Global Resort Options in May 2023 to advertise my timeshare to rent or buy "for the life of the owner's deed". However, I have not been able to get any evidence that they have advertised it at all in the last 14 months. I have tried and failed to speak to someone about this multiple times over the last year. After the most recent time they scheduled a call and blew me off, I asked for a refund with no response. I have given them every opportunity to prove to me they are legitimate, but I am afraid they are predatory at best and a scam at worst.Business Response

On October 1st 2023, the company named Global Resorts Options called to offer me the possibility to get rid of the timeshare that I have with Westgate Resorts. Being that I contemplated getting out of the timeshare, I set up a follow up appointment with them on October 7th at around 11:00 AM. My wife and I, even though we were tired after a hard work week, we attended that meeting where the salesperson promised us to rent then sell our timeshare for us. Feeling that we were onto something good, I kindly supplied my *************** credit card to be billed $4,995.00. A few months passed by, our timeshare didn't get rented nor sold. Later on, we found out from Westgate Resorts that no one bu us could rent or sell our timeshare. I tried to get my money refunded to me, but the company through its contract claimed that it only provides advertisement. I fell like I've been had. No one in their right mind would pay $4,995.00 to advertise a timeshare. the worst thing is that we never received any offers to rent nor purchase our timeshare. Global Resort Options is just out there preying on unsuspecting customers out there. Please, help me get a full refund! I paid for a service that I didn't receive. Thanks!Business Response

We reject this statement due to a few inaccuracies. A review was initiated on the account on January 4th, 2024, that determined we have in fact forwarded several offers to the account starting on November 26th, 2023, to which no response was received. We understand concerns that were raised from the resort being disingenuous with information that was provided regarding your ability to rent the property.
