On May 22, 2023, I was operating my 2015 Hino when I experienced an error code of P0715 and my transmission was stuck in gear. I took my vehicle to Rush Truck Center in Jacksonville, FL. The vehicle was inspected and documented to have transmission fluid high on the dipstick. There were multiple services recommended and all were completed including the disconnection of 20 pin pass through connector at the transmission to inspect and clean terminals, reinstallation of the SPL140 Bearing Strap and Bolt and draining the ATF and removal of both ATF filters, replacement of gaskets and installation of new ATF Filters. Upon retrieving the vehicle on June 1, with all of the suggested repairs completed totaling ($1490.10) My vehicle experienced the exact same error code traveling from Jacksonville, FL to Nashville, TN approximately 600. MHC Kenworth reported, No fluid on the dip stick, dip stick smelled like burnt trans fluid and recommended draining and refilling with fresh fluid, duplicating the repair completed in Jacksonville again totaling over $2000.00. On June 12, I experience the same error code again, at this time the vehicle was taken to Pacifico Ford in Philadelphia, PA. The technician reported “AFTER VERIFYING CUSTOMER CONCERN CHECKED FOR DTC'S. CODE P0715 IS CURRENTLY STORED. REMOVED TRANS FILTER AND FOUND METAL SHAVINGS. DRAIN FLUID AND FLUID IS BURNT. PROCEEDED TO CHECK LINE PRESSURE (READING 5PSI) TRANSMISSION WAS RAN 2 GALLONS SHORT WHICH RESULTED IN CLUTCH PLATES GETTING BURNT”. Their recommendation was to replace the transmission totaling over $15K.

Att:***** ****** Translated by BBB Staff On 07/29/2022 I paid the amount of $58,797.75 in a cashier's check to the dealer, Rush Truck Center located at 915 Roberts Rd Haine City, FL. for a Peterbilt 579 truck from the year 2016 which after 5 days began to have various engine problems until yesterday when the mechanic finally found that the engine had a broken block head which apparently had chemicals added to it hide the problem temporarily. The expense in repairs has been around $12,000 in 3 months to the point that there is nothing that can be done since the engine is useless, even the truck was sold to me with the emissions system removed. I have contacted the dealer several times but they do not agree to help me or respond in any way since I have told them that I cannot work because the truck is not working. What I demand of them is that I can return the truck and that they give me my money back, or that they replace it with another identical one that has no problems, since I understand this was a real scam. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/22) */ Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will contact the customer and have them bring the truck in for inspection to understand the full issue at hand. Please note... Rush does not take part in any emission system disenabling or removing of any emissions systems. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/11/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Translated by BBB Staff I do not accept because I have already paid a lot of money in repairs for which I have proof and right now the truck is in the workshop because it also has a damaged engine head, the mechanic is already disassembling it and this is another additional repair that is estimated at more than $5,000. I want them to reimburse me for part of all the expenses or to exchange the truck for another one that is in good condition. In addition to the receipts that I sent, the one for the motor head that is in process is missing. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/11/30) */ Several attempts have been made trying to contact the customer with no avail. We would like for the truck to be brought to our facility for inspection. Can the customer please contact us for further discussion. Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2022/12/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Gracias att: **** ****** translate by BBB Staff They did contact me today December 1 and yesterday and I told them the workshop where the truck was located with the correct address, they spoke with the mechanic and went to Tampa, the manager, salesperson, and 2 Rush technicians to verify that Yes, what I claimed was correct, the severe damage to the truck, I am just waiting for them to contact me again to tell me if they are going to change the truck for another, or the refund. On the 3th of March I took my truck in for a a engine light came on. They repair a harness and inlet knox sensor. On 12th of March I go get my truck. I payed $1923. When retrieving my batteries were dead my radio was on blasting an GPS was on. I also incounter a tranmission fault. Now I feel that something happened on there behalf that caused my batteries to drained. So I now have to purchase 4 new batteries which my batteries were fully functional when I took my truck in. I took my truck in for fixing but picked it up with 2 different probably which now going to cost me way more than I expected. I been there 4-6 times and only I came out of there 1 time that when right. The other times there always end up paying for something else other than what I when in for. I feel that I'm getting scram out of more money than what I intend to spend. I feel that they should have better taught mechanics. Also service takes way too long to get looked for simple mechanic fix. Way over priced. I don't mine paying but it that the work is not worth what I pay an that's cash. This is probably the last time I bring my truck in to Rush. To my knowledge Rush is not as professional mechanics as I thought. You take your truck in for one reason an end having other issues. One losted costumer.
