This was one of the worst experiences me and my family ever had. We booked 7 days for $6,000 plus $500 security deposit. Coming from *********, ** (18 hours on the road) We arrived at ***********************************************************************************. Were all tired from the drive and we go to check in at 4:00. The cleaning people tell us they need 30 mins to finish cleaning. We come back 30 mins later and the cleaning people tell us, they need another 30 mins because the people before us left a mess. Now its been an hour after the scheduled check in time. Im not gonna make a big deal about that, but so far its not a good start. As soon as we walk in the house, it smells like old garbage and must. I let them know about the smell because it was really bad. The Rep tells me to buy some candles or an air freshener if the smell is that bad. I bought 5 candles and an air freshener and lit all candles to just mask the smell. The Pool table was broken, stained and missing pieces. The pool table was a big reason why I chose that house. The worst part, on the third day the A/C vents started leaking bad. Upstairs was soaked with water, and the downstairs ceilings and walls were dripping water. Nobody touched the thermostat, but Upstay wants to blame us for the leaking of the A/C. Theyre trying to keep my $500 security deposit, which is ridiculous! Nothing got fixed and now Im being blamed for the A/C leaking. NEVER book with Upstay EVER again!
