    1 star is being generous. We rented a 4 bedroom condo and provided a dorm frig and cooler. We notified 2 hours prior to check in. Promised problem would be fixed on Monday- that never happened. Condo was dirty, No batteries in remotes. No way to clean sand off floor. Plug in vac. and sparks fly and lights blink. Company removes all reviews for the condo. I wrote a negative review and it was removed. Management company had different story for each day. Offer $50.00 against a weeks' worth of ice purchases. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

    The beach house I rented was filthy including a pair of dirty underwear in the bathroom vanity. I immediately contacted them and sent photos to them of all of the findings including the sewer being backed up in the yard. It’s been over a week and still haven’t heard from them. I asked to speak to a manager several times and never got my request. They should call themselves “VHC Stay… Away!”

    I reserved a cabin through AirBnB with them and a day before my reservation day they told me that they had to cancel. After hours of messaging and talking to people they said they would pay the difference for me to re-book as I was going to have to get a place that was more. They gave me instructions on canceling and then re-booking and once it was actually canceled said they could not do anything for me as I had canceled my reservation which is exactly what they told me to do. They said take it up with AirBnB now. They offered me a cabin they knew wasn't available and waited till the day before to tell me oh, there is an issue with it. I had been chatting with them for almost 2 weeks about different things and extending my stay, which they let me do the day before they said I couldn't stay there, and then last second pulled the run out from under me and left me to try and figure it out. AirBnB isn't much better as they don't want to back their policy to protect me after something like this happens. Do not give Vhc your money, find another place.

    Take warning when dealing with this company. They were very very welcoming just to get under contract with you. The one parting with the company they can't take control of your calendars block all platforms so you cannot go on your own. They left my home in horrible condition. Things were broken the house was dirty. Did nothing to try to make things right. Call They took reservations from customers knowing they didn't have possession of the property at the time. Still people have not gotten their money back from this company. Take warning
