I have a complaint related to the transport of a 2021 Maserati Levante by Lion Transport and Logistics LLC.1. On Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 9:30 pm, without any prior contact, I was informed the transporter was on my road with the vehicle. I had been told by ************* that the delivery was scheduled for Monday, January 29. ************* outsourced the delivery to Lion Transport.2. The transporter proceeded to drop off my vehicle but got his truck and trailer stuck in the mud blocking my road. After he attempted to remove the truck without success, he informed me that he was going to contact someone to get a tow truck. 3. The driver was picked up by his girlfriend at approximately 11:30 pm. 4. After waiting all night for his return, I attempted to reach out to the driver at 4:54am to figure out when he planned to return. 5. I kept attempting to contact the driver. I didnt hear from him until 8:30am, and only after I told him that my neighbors needed to have access to the road. My neighbors contacted the local police who arrived on site and I filed a report. 6. During this time, I also continued to reach out to ************* since this was who I hired. I contacted ********************* multiple times to no avail. 7. The driver returned around 10:30am on Sunday, January 28. While attempting to extricate his truck and trailer he caused extensive damage to my property. The damage is documented in pictures and in the police report. 8. I am seeking compensation for repairing my lawn. It is completely destroyed. I have reached out to both Lion Transport and Logistics LLC and ************* who have refused to accept responsibility for their driver's actions. I paid ************* $350 to transport the vehicle. Then I paid the Lion Transport and Logistics LLC driver $200, which was reimbursed by *************. I am not disputing the amount I was charged for transport. I am seeking compensation to repair the extensive property damage caused.Customer response

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the damage to your lawn during the transport of your 2021 Maserati Levante. We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience.
Upon reviewing your request for ************, we regret to inform you that our company, Lion,cannot accept liability for this particular incident. Our records indicate that both you and the driver were present during the maneuver, and it was evident that unforeseen challenges could arise due to the trucks weight and the lawn conditions at that moment. Your decision to allow the driver to proceed with the maneuver in your driveway was taken into account, and he followed your instructions diligently.
We have also forwarded your quote to the driver, but unfortunately, he does not agree with the claim. As a result, we are unable to grant ************ in this case.
We sincerely hope that you understand our perspective and that you are satisfied with the delivery of your vehicle. We value your business and aim to maintain a positive relationship with you.
