Extremely Disappointed with Alpha Wraps Avoid at All Costs I had an extremely disappointing experience with Alpha Wraps and want to warn others.Initial Engagement:I approached Alpha Wraps to have my Tesla Cybertruck wrapped in STEK Paint Protection Film (PPF). The owner, ******, assured me they would use STEK's high-quality gloss black PPF.Poor Quality and Misrepresentation:Despite having my truck for an entire week while I was on a cruise, Alpha Wraps waited until 24 hours before my scheduled pickup to start the work. The job was rushed and poorly executed, with overstretched panels and burn marks. The material used did not match what was promised.Return Visit and Additional Costs:****** requested that I bring the truck back, promising to make it right. I drove down from *********** and rented a vehicle at my own expense for a week. When I returned, ****** was not there, and a worker who knew nothing about the truck refused to give me my key until I made the final payment. In a dimly lit showroom, I couldn't see all the flaws. Once outside, I saw four panels were matte finish instead of gloss, and edges were not taped down. It turned out to be vinyl, not PPF.Independent Inspection and Manufacturer Verification:Suspicious, I sent pictures to ****, who confirmed it was a knockoff. An independent expert with eight years of experience in PPF inspected the wrap and confirmed it was vinyl, not PPF.Unprofessional Communication:On May 22nd, I asked ****** if he used black gloss STEK PPF, and he said yes. The next day, Alpha Wraps offered a $2,000 settlement, framing the issue as a "miscommunication." ****** deflected, saying the invoice only mentioned "PPF" and our phone conversation wouldnt hold up in court.Final Thoughts:My experience with Alpha Wraps was a nightmare. Their misrepresentation, poor workmanship, and unprofessional handling left me highly dissatisfied. Avoid Alpha Wraps.
