Reihl's signed a contract on May 30th, 2023 with Closet Outfitters, LLC (Cliff) to build a custom closet. – Paid $2985.30 deposit. We picked out the color White Frozen Wood and were told by Cliff that the color was available (Per Invoice). There was no communication regarding the install until (approximately) the week of August 28th when Cliff called to say there was a delay of approximately 2 weeks (spoke with Ben Reihl). On September 20th, Cliff called to say that the color we picked out wasn’t available (spoke to *** *****). Cliff said he would come by on September 26th in order for us to pick out a new color (not what we ordered or put a deposit on) – a void for the contract? We (******** feel we were lied to by Cliff regarding the available color and the agreement we made for our closet. Henceforth, we agreed (the *******) that we would like to get a refund of our deposit (since we could no longer trust anything Cliff says) and move our separate ways. Cliff came on September 26th and we told him we would like our deposit back as he could not deliver what was promised in the contract. Cliff immediately said that we could not get a refund because it was non-refundable. We (*******) feel that we should be able to get a refund since he could not deliver as promised.Customer response

Good morning,
I am happy to report that last week we heard from Emanuel (please see attached email) indicating that they were very sorry and that they would void the contract and return our funds.
We later heard from Patricia (please see attached email) indicating they were requesting a refund from the manufacturer to refund out money,
I have to believe that contacting you helped with our case.
