We are now almost 20 months into our 10 month build:- Contract signed May 2021 - All materials were ordered on June 11, 2021 - Closed with bank July 2021 - Even though we owned the lot, the lot was not cleared until Nov. 23, 2021 Then 2 months of nothing - Slab poured Jan. 23, 2022 - Build begins Feb. 11, 2022 - Inside Roof joints onsite Feb. 3, 2022 - Roof joints installed March 18th - plywood on roof March 29th - roof shingles April 19th - windows doors last week of May *** the real problems start:- wrong tub is installed (This tub was completely installed and plumbing and electric had to be redone Who paid for this?)- Chair rails and decorative molding is installed despite clearly stated in the contract that we did not want these (these were hand cut onsite - very time consuming) THESE WERE LATER REMOVED - Dirt that was delivered to the house is constantly washed out despite pleading with the salesman to have the gutters installed so this wouldn't happen Driveway and front walkway go in around October 12th. WE AGAIN EXPRESS CONCERN ABOUT GUTTERS NOT BEING INSTALLED. Hurricane *** hits on Sept. 29. No damage to our property, HOWEVER THE **** UNDER THE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY WASH AWAY LEAVING A 1 FOOT BY 3 FOOT HOLE UNDER THE SIDEWALK AND a 1'X1' DIVOT FROM THE TOP OF THE DRIVEWAY TO THE STREET.IT HAS REMAINED THIS WAY AS OF THIS WRITING 11/25.The decorative chairs and frames are reinstalled for some reason (AGAIN TAKEN DOWN))When we asked to meet with the owner, we were told, "**** doesn't meet with anyone."When we asked about why a project wasn't done on the date we were given, the response was, "Scheduling.... When things get rescheduled... you go to the end of the line... not next up. Another one of our long list of frustrations. Someone doesn't show up... everything has to be rescheduled."We have been harassed about visiting the property unescorted but the only reason these issues were uncovered was because we were 10 minutes away.-Business response

We are working with our customer. I do believe we have an understanding. Unfortunately, home building is taking a lot longer than expected due to labor shortages and material shortages
I did not realize a complaint was filed until yesterday when I received this. Our customer sent us a copy but since we did not receive anything from the BBB so we didn't think it was filed.
