      We hired Morgan Brothers Inc. (MB) to replace our sliding glass doors in early May 2021. We paid $4933.97 upfront for the doors since it was a customized order of Andersen doors. From May 2021 to Feb 2022, I constantly call the office and texted the owner, Tom. When I called/texted, they would say that they'll check & get back to me the next day/week. But they never did and I'll call them a few days later. The responses became more and more infrequent and delayed. This went on from May to Aug 2021. On 9/8/21, MB said the doors are scheduled for installation on 9/22. But on that day, no one showed up and no one called. On 9/29/21, Tom texted to say that the doors had arrived but they weren't up to the FL code. So Andersen has to re-do the doors. I asked for some compensation since it had been so long since we paid in full. On 10/7/21, Tom said he managed to get a $500 discount for me, which he would take off when the installation occurred. The cycle of me calling the office, calling and texting Tom and their empty promises of updates resumed. On 12/7/21, Tom texted to say the current schedule has our installation on 1/10/22. When I called the day before to confirm, no one responded. On that day, no one showed up and no one called. On 1/13/22, Tom texted to say the office is closed from COVID, but they'll reopen the next week. They never did and now, no one answers the office phone. On 1/24 and 1/31, I emailed to say that I'm canceling the order but don't get any reply. My texts to Tom are unanswered. On 2/3/22, I texted Tom that I wanted to cancel the order and a refund. He replied the office is still closed but he'll get admin to help next week. This never happened. On 2/10/22, I texted Tom that I may have to report the situation. He replied his wife is having surgery but he'll get back on 2/14, but he didn't and the office is still closed. When I called Andersen, they had no record of our order or any order put in by MB. So I'm afraid I got scammed. HELP!!
