A used home is like a used car, I never expected it to be perfect, but I was thrilled with Erik's inspection! Very thorough and precise. Naturally I found imperfections after we moved in, but all the big things were exactly as Erik discovered in the inspection. If I buy another, Erik will be my first call! Thank you.Review from Ryan A

Erik has completed several inspections for my personal properties. He is always professional, extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his inspections. I highly recommend him for home inspections, 4-point inspections and wind mitigation reports required to obtain homeowners insurance.Review from Nelson R

We were disappointed with EDC Professional Home Inspections. We requested a wind mitigation inspection for our insurance company, and Erik suggested the 4-Point inspection and the wind mitigation for $125.00. Our home insurance suggested we get wind mitigation done to decrease our premiums. We made it extremely clear to Erik that we needed the wind mitigation, but we agreed to both. Erik came out and only performed a 4-Point inspection which was useless with the insurance company's request. We had to pay another company to come out and conduct the wind mitigating inspection. EDC did not render services that were agreed upon.

This is regrettable situation, but the client did ask for the 4-point report and we discussed the difference between the reports. The client did not want to pay for more than what was needed. We advised them to discuss which reports were needed with their insurance agent to make the decision. The client's wife ordered the 4-point and that was provided. The husband did not want to pay for the Wind Mitigation after the requested report was provided. The clients also filed a wrongful charge with their CC provider and attempted a stop payment, which was found to be false and not granted. This was an attempt to obtain service without paying.Customer Response

This comment is false as we clearly agreed to have both the 4point and wind mitigation. This was clearly is a bait-and-switch. Your fees were not going to break or make us. But we do expect to get what we paid for. Our biggest mistake was not getting the service in writing from you. That is why the CC claim was denied.EDC Professional Home Inspections Response

Not a bait and switch. We are simply not willing to provide you 2 separate reports for the price you paid. We were on our way to your home when you made it clear you were not going to pay and we stopped our inspector in transit. We strive to provide our customers with the reports needed and are willing to work with the insurance underwriters to get the information needed. However, we are not willing to provide our services for free!
We regret you had an unhappy experience and hope the next inspector took care of you to satisfaction.
