The Palm Beach Resort ***************** has all but ghosted us when we have asked for assistance in executing the Buy Back program as promised at the time of purchase. Our entire experience with the company has been marred by lies and misinformation. The maintenance fees have increased significantly, and we have been unable to book trips to desired destinations despite attempts to use our RCI Points. Additionally, the earned veteran's discount on maintenance fees was not honored. Following a series of personal hardships, including the passing of my husband, the loss of my son's job, and financial difficulties, we find ourselves unable to justify the ongoing expenses associated with the timeshare. My son and I agreed to attempt a hardship withdrawal from our contract. In December of 2023, we submitted the documentation that was required to be considered for this hardship to Palm Beach Shores and a $1,500 check for the transaction fees to initiate the hardship-based buyback clause. To date, we have not received any response, and the check has not been cashed. We are now in a position where the financial burden of the timeshare is unsustainable, and we respectfully request that Palm Beach Shores Resort consider our request for termination under the hardship clause. We are willing to forego any return on our initial investment; our primary concern is to relieve ourselves of the ongoing financial obligation. We hope they are paying attention to their BBB reviews; perhaps they will reach out now.

We have contacted this Business several times requesting that, as promised at the time of the presentation, we could sell the timeshare back to them. We received one response and that was a flat no, we don't do that. You are responsible and your heirs will also be responsible. We have even offered to GIVE the timeshare week back to them. They don't do that either. Funny how they had a week in a unit that had been given back to them because of the owner's death, and we could have it for a reduced price.
