      I am a long time customer of this dealership, having brought my previous vehicles in for service since I moved here in 2011. The first time I purchased a vehicle there was in May 2019 and then I traded in that vehicle this past February for a used vehicle. This purchase was a 2019 Jeep Compass Sport. On the test drive, myself and *********** noticed a slight clunking noise. The noise eventually got worse and I brought it in to get looked at in March. I had to pick my car back up since I crashed the loaner car and was not able to bring the car back for repair until July. A part was replaced and was fine when I picked my car up, only for the clunking to return the next day. I brought my car back again this past Friday to be looked at again and it's another part related to the one that was replaced. I was given a quote by my service advisor and he told me that sales will no longer be paying for any further repairs to my vehicle and that my warranty has expired. My vehicle only had a 3 MONTH warranty. The issues should have been handled before I took the car off the lot and I was pregnant at the time of purchase and when I was in the accident with the loaner. I should not have had to continue bringing it to everyone's attention. I cannot afford to spend the $1428.95 + tax that I was quoted, and I DO NOT FEEL SAFE driving the vehicle with my 4 month old daughter in the vehicle. It's unfair that I have to keep borrowing my husband's truck to bring my daughter anywhere. I should not have to pay that amount for an issue that was known from the start. I do not recommend that anyone go there, especially to the service department. I wish that I didn't have to select a star for the rating because no stars are deserved. Thank you for losing a long time customer.

      Vehicle was purchased and terms agreed upon after ***** Gibbs gave me IN WRITING that the vehicle had been 172 point inspected and needed only the listed repairs. It took them 10 days to deliver the vehicle to me. In the coming days we discovered it had many other issues. I had the vehicle inspected using the same inspection criteria by a Chevrolet dealer. The list of defects/work needed or required is staggering. There is also problems with the work they performed. I contacted Mr ******************** and told him the situation and he offered to clean the vehicle. One of the items promised and not done was a detail. He has ceased communication and referred me to his LEGAL TEAM. No problem Mr ********************* NO PROBLEM !!! Refer to the ******* Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. (FDUTPA)

      The customer purchased the vehicle as-is without warranty. He signed multiple documents stating that he understood the warranty status on the car. We have text correspondence with the customer showing that he was satisfied on the date the vehicle was delivered to him, other than the cleaning of the car. We offered to reclean the vehicle for him and he declined. Several months after the purchase he emailed and said that there were some issues with the vehicle, and once again we went over the documents with him that he signed stating that the vehicle was purchased as is. He threatened to go the legal route and contact his lawyer and we told him that at that point we could no longer discuss the case with him individually. We are currently waiting to hear from his legal team

My salesman, ***********************, was just fine. He's a very nice guy and seemed truly embarrassed by the actions of "*****" the owner. I had just moved to ********** and due to a change in employment, were suddenly in need of a second vehicle. After seeing the garbage that was for sale in the local Marketplace, decided to check the website for Tom Gibbs Chevrolet and found a cute little ******* that seemed to fit the ****. Having just moved literally two weeks prior, we just needed a reliable little grocery-getter for the time being, until we got settled and started new car shopping for a nice SUV. We test drove the ******* and was told it would be getting two new tires, oil change, alignment and a battery. Because of an issue with lock-lugs needing cut off, we couldn't get the car for a couple days. Let me note, I paid CASH for the car and it was a bit of an irritant to the dealer, who wanted $2000 more if I paid cash. Fast forward to the day I pick up the car and sign the title paperwork, only to be told that now there is a recall issue and I can't get the car until after the weekend. I go on Monday and pick up the car. On Tuesday, it has trouble starting. On Wednesday, it won't start and the tach drops to nothing, no power. I get it started and take it to the dealer. They check it out and find nothing wrong. They also say the battery tests fine (well, it should, you put in a new one. What? You didn't put one in? Yet, you said you would). Car is fine on Friday and Saturday. Sunday it won't start again and ***** came to my home to see the car and of course, it started. We do the dance again and of course, service finds nothing wrong. I said, look, I'm done. This car is not going to work out, it's it's unreliable. Just give me back my money and I'll buy something else. Well, "*****" is convinced its nothing but Buy

      Do not do business with this dealership. Without going into to the entire circumstance, let me just say we turned down an offer for a car, were called back and asked to return with a specific deal. We were then upsold on price for over $1700 and finally reached an agreement at a much lower figure only to have the dealership call us 4 days later and want to pick up the car. We have excellent credit. The care was not sold for a big enough profit and they recalled the deal to resell it for more money! BE AFRAID - BE VERY AFRAID!
