      I ahd requested a estimate to update my home. I was asked for a crdit card the next day $4200. was charged to my card before I saw any contract and the contract was not a good contract, no permits mentioned, no guarentee of work if fact a disclaimer of the work.I know I trusted too soon but Its not ok they took the money before a day was gone and I had no time to consider what happened. I am disabled and I do have to watch out better - business should not take advantage of people.

      I made an appointment for an estimate on a breaker replacement that flipped off three times in 4 days. A nice gentleman came to the house. He wanted to see the breaker in question within 5 minutes he is telling me ALL that is wrong with my whole set up. Now he wanted to see the indoor breaker box. Not sure why, as the problem was in the outside box. He was here over 3 and 1/2 hours. The final amount to repair all is $6,500.00.I was in shock. ****** now tells me if I don`t do the job, I have to pay $245.00 for the estimate. I feel like he took advantage of me. I`m 77 yrs old, not in good health. ****** made me nervous procrastinating. Getting in and out of his truck several times, leaving the truck running the whole time he was here. Beware of this company.. The reviews for sunrise electric are bad. They changed their name. Not sure about their work ethics.

      After several quotes from Sunrise (we kept changing our minds) we finally decided on a plan and ********** came to our house on Monday 7/10. He did a great job! He even made some suggestions that saved us a little money. There was a lot to do, some improvements, and some things that needed to be fixed, probably never done right in the first place. He got everything done for us in one day! This is an old "handy man special" house and everything takes way longer than it should. We are very appreciative of the ********************** that ********** showed in doing the work on our house. Definitely will use Sunrise again.

      Work well done but too expensive according to our neighbors (over $6000.00 However, our biggest complaint is that the company refused to give us an itemized account. Our mobile home park would have refunded half the cost of the outside electrical panel which would mean hundreds of dollars in our pocket. As elderly snowbirds, we certainly would have appreciated that money.We can't help but wonder why they refused. We can't understand and wonder if there is fraud involved.Because of this as well as the exorbitant cost, we DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

      Dear ****** We have made so many attempts to reach you.  We have called several times and sent several emails.  I suspect the phone number on file is your home phone in ******* and you are ** in ******.  Unfortunately when you originally called for the itemized bill for the work that was done in January of 2022 you were told we couldnt proved that to you.  However we were able to. If you reach out to us at ************ I can still get that over to you however, I would like to make sure we have the correct email since there has been no response.  Please reach out to us either now or when you are back in town.  We look forward to hearing from you.

      A call for service was placed for a tripped breaker affecting my microwave and half of my living room. On June 23, it was determined that the breaker was tripping due to the microwave being on the same circuit as half of my living room. A dedicated circuit to the microwave was installed for a price of $556. That day, I wrote a 5 star review based on the the performance of that electrician. Things went south after that. On June 24, the breaker tripped again. The same electrician came out and replaced two outlets in the living room. On June 25, another visit for the same thing with a different electrician who thought it best to cut the electricity to my lanai outlets. June 27, tripped again. At that point, the electrician said he thought the problem was in the wall and handed me an estimate of $3628.65 for a new circuit for the living room and a new Arc fault breaker. He also said there would be wall damage that my handyman would need to repair. After 4 visits and still having no electricity to half of my living room, I went with another company who replaced the faulty breaker that kept tripping in 10 minutes for a very reasonable fee and I have not had a problem since.

      In October of 2021, my irrigation system was shorting the breaker. I called Sunrise Electric. An electrician came and split the breaker. He charged $238.00. Everything was fine until a couple of weeks ago (10 months later), the same thing started happening. I reached out to Sunrise electric to have them come back and assess. The same electrician, Timothy, returned and informed me that I had to switch my whole breaker box from a 100 amp box to a 200 amp box. I asked him if the $238 I spent previously could be deducted from the quote as he had not fixed the problem. He said it was a possibility. Timothy proceeded to go back to his van for about 20 min. He came back with an $11,336 quote. I politely informed him that with an estimate that high, I would have to do a little research. Timothy assured me that any other electrician would come back with the same answer. I thanked him, and he left. Today I had another electrician come; the different electrician moved a couple of wires around and fixed the problem in 20 min. I do not know if Timothy is incompetent as an electrician or if Sunrise Electric's policy is to quote astronomical prices to hard-working middle-class people, but I would not recommend Sunrise Electric. I genuinely feel they were attempting to take advantage of me. Please, do not use this company.

      Tim provided great service with detailed explanations! He even called Duke to set up an appointment to fix an issue on their end. Tim helped me prioritize what needed to be fixed and set me up with 18 month free financing. Friendly and professional!
