We hired this company Superior Fence and Rail of Palm Beach to place a fence in our yard and we paid a deposit of $1,956.28 which was 50 % of the total price before the job was started. The job was done and the fence was placed but there was a problem. The fence was not installed properly from the ground as it was supposed to be, instead there is a gap between the fence to the ground of about 10 inches. This is not the way we wanted the fence installed and this was not what the pictures of the fences show on the website of Superior Fence and Rail of Palm Beach. This has created 2 problems: 1- There is not enough privacy between my neighbor's property and mine since there a clear wide passage of underneath the fence 2- Since my neighbors yard has dirt and not tiles like my property, when it rains there an avalanche of dirt that floods our property. We complained about this problem to Superior Fence and we requested in a very respectful way to fix this problem and to completely block the gap as it was supposed be. The Superior Fence's answer was that they will not fix this problem and that "we" should put some some rocks or stones there to fix this problem. They are also requesting that we pay the other 50 % of the unpaid balance. This answer is totally unacceptable. We are respectfully asking to the better business bureau to mediate in this issue and ask Superior Fence to either fix this problem or to waive the unpaid balance so we can hire another company to complete the job as it was supposed to be done. Please find attached pictures and a video with the evidence that have been mentioned in this letter. Additionally, I am attaching their email response to my request.
