I purchased two ac's from modern air solution they were installed in may and June of 2021. I was told by the a/c rep that ******* is the brand he recommended as it might be a little higher in price but felt it was more reliable. Also suggested upgrading to the coastal series for our area. I purchased two -2 ton complete coastal ******* heat pump systems. When I called ******* to register for warranty I was informed that one of the ac is not a heat pump but straight cool. Also told me the interior fan coil for both condos were not showing as a Carrier, but instead a ICP brand. The next day a different rep tells me the same thing. Was told ******* owns icp but icp is not ******* but rather it is a budget line. An email was sent to me stating ******* does manufacture the type of coil installed but the the coil installed is manufactured by icp. There is not badge or any evidence of being a ******* brand and it is is bare sheet metal unlike the painted carriers. My receipts indicate it is a ******* model number fma4p2410al. I called mike ********* the owner he said I was told wrong, that he installed a ******* coil and the reason they put a straight cool instead of heat pump was a wiring issue at the complex. I asked why didn't he tell me and adjust the price as straight cool is less than heat pump. He said that actually straight cool is more expensive than heat pump. Later he tells me that there is only $3 difference. All other companies quote $500 higher price for heat pump. Also the coil has a sticker stating the filter size is 16x20. Multiple brands have been tried and none fit. Mike says the problem is I am buying normal size filters and need nominal sized - special order filters. I feel Modern Air has misrepresnted what I paid for. ******* has told me more than once and in writing that modern air could have used a ******* interior coil but instead used ICP. Email from ******* Corporation dated 6/16/2022 2:36pm in response to ******* Case # 03650666 ******* Fan Coil explaining the mistake was made solely by their organization.

Please see the attached ******* Product Bulletin in response to Mr. ****** news article. The document confirms Modern Air Solutions, LLC sold and installed the equipment promised and request and again ask that Modern Air Solutions, LLC be removed from this case. To resolve Mr. ****** concerns and request for replacement he must contact the Management Review Board at ******* Corporation. His ******* Case # is 03650666-******* Fan Coil.
