Beck and Jelly Creative was hired to complete a website for us along with a set of promotional videos specifically for the site. He delivered on the overpriced videos, but never finished the site. Over the last year we have paid Vanta aka Jelly Creative and Beck over 100k towards this project. 30-40k of which was dedicated solely to the website which was never completed.Business response

Micheal ***** broke our agreement when he followed his agreement to pay us with, "we will never ever pay you." Which is a shame considering how hard we worked to provide services despite the constant communication unclarity and changes with Micheal. Micheal ***** crossed the line when we threatened me, my team, and my family with physical harm.Customer response

Beck was paid for video footage and website deliverables that he never completed or handed over to us. We even paid him to complete a splash page for two different businesses, and when the hosting expired he did not notify us or transfer the code for said splash pages. Since they have deactivated our hosting we have lost a significant amount of promotional traffic. I am in communication with California litigators who plan to sue beck and Jelly Creative for all the items he never completed, plus lost promotional traffic dollars. Just to be clear that was not a threat to Beck and his family, but a promise to hurt him financially using the law. When I am done with him he will no longer be able to put people through the same pain he put us through. Not a threat, but a promise.
Also we had planned on paying him for the 3750 owed for a simple addition to the site once the site was up. Not before because of the overwhelming amount of open projects. We were very clear final payment would be received upon completion of the project. I will never let this go. He needs to resolve the issue or suffer the wrath.Business response

We have talked to Micheal ***** regarding a resolution. As directed, we emailed his attorney and are waiting on a new agreement to sign based on the following on August 16, 2022:
"We have the website ready to upload to your AWS servers. Also, Brian will be back home soon, and he has all the raw files. The client doesn't usually ask for raw files. However, I'd be happy to get them shipped over to you. We spent around $200 each on each hard drive, but no worries. Also, completed videos have always been sent and downloadable via your past emails from frame.io. But those will be on the hardrives as well."
We just need to sign something saying your terms for paying for the website change order. Once we show it working and you pay the change order, we will ship all the raw files over to you. We also need to include something to sign that removes bad reviews and so on from online. Do you want to have it written or would you like me to do it?"
