I hired Jennifer to take pictures at my wedding. The wedding was canceled a week before the date. I'm our contract it states that my 25% deposit of $200 is non-refundable but does not state anything about the remainder being non-refundable. When I asked if o could be refunded the remaining amount of $600 she refused and sent me a different contract I did not sign. I tried to negotiate with Jennifer and asked that I at least received $300 back and she still refused. She offered to give me a refund of I gave her a referral or I could do a individual or family session. I will not be in the area in order to do a future session so this is not a reasonable compromise. Nowhere in the signed contract does it state that my remainder amount is non refundable.
