We hired Sarah to take family photos for us at Grayton Beach, FL on July 18th, 2023. We signed her contract and made both deposits totalling $500. It has now been 10 weeks since the pictures were taken and we have received nothing from Sarah despite numerous attempts to contact her. We understand it takes time to turn around the pictures but it is unacceptable to ignore repeated request for an update.Initial Complaint

We booked a family photo session with Sarah Flowers Photography while vacationing on 30A. She was great for the shoot on 7/11/23 at Grayton Beach. The kids loved her. We couldn’t wait to see our pics. This was our first professional beach pictures. A fellow photographer warned me about her while leaving the shoot but I thought she was mistaken. We are going on week 11 with no pictures. I last heard from heard on 8/31, she assured me we would have our pictures by 9/5, but it is now 9/26. I have emailed, texted, and reached out on social media with no response. These pictures are priceless and can’t be replaced. Hoping she sees this and can find it in the kindness of heart to give me the pictures of my children. That’s all I want. I didn’t want it to come to this. I have been quite patient after reading these BBB reviews weeks ago. I hope we can have a resolution soon.Initial Complaint

I had family pictures taken and was told she would get the water mark off of them and back to me with an invoice for the extra photos I chose within a few days. Sarah Flowers did a family photo shoot for us on May 16, 2023 in Grayton Beach, FL. We executed a contract and paid a deposit of $350 on Feb 5th to reserve our date and paid the balance of $350 on the day of the shoot plus $100 cash gratuity. Total cost was $850. She quoted 4-6 weeks for photos. I received an auto-generated follow up on May 30th and have not heard from her since. After the 6-week mark passed, I sent numerous emails and text messages with no reply. Obviously the money is one thing but the real heartbreak is the photos that could be lost. My parents are in their 70s and their 3 children and 4 grandchildren live all over the country and are rarely together all at once. Like every photoshoot, this was a once-in-a-lifetime moment with everyone together while my parents are still well and the children are young. I am heartbroken at the idea that we will never see these photos.Customer response

I'd like to close out my complaint. The photographer has provided files and her obligations to me are satisfied. It took 9.5 weeks from the time we did the photo shoot. I do not know if this BBB complaint helped, but it made me feel better knowing I had some action I could take. Thank you for being a resource for distressed consumers.Initial Complaint

We contracted in April of 2023 with Sarah to take family photos for us while in Destin. We met her at the beach for sunset photos and by our contract the amount was paid in full, and our photos would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. After approximately 8 weeks I started messaging on FB, email, text and IG to her profiles asking for updates. With no response I sought out her personal pages and messaged her again. I got a reply that our photos were next and we would have them by Friday of the week. That was two weeks ago and I still don’t have them. I have again been messaging asking for resolution as we have paid in full, and she has not responded. To date we have sent over 10 emails, and an equal number of texts. We want our photos or our money back! These photos were very precious to us and now we don’t have anything to say for them. Total disappointment for travelers coming to the area.Initial Complaint

I hired a photographer for family beach photos in Florida. She was paid in full $575 plus Gratuity. The photos were taken July 3, 2022. I was told we would receive the photos in 4 to 6 weeks. I have a signed contract that states if it is going to take longer than that I would be contacted. I have reached out multiple times via text and email and cannot get a response from the photographer and still do not have photos. We are currently over nine weeks post pictures. At this point, I'm hoping she is just running behind and I am going to get them but I'm concerned now that I'm dealing with someone who just took our money with no intent of giving me my pics.Customer response

Sarah took our family pictures in July summer of 2021. I fully expected it to take a little time to send us the pictures since our large group and so many pictures where taken. I have reached out through emails monthly as well as text to gain an update on the pictures. We paid over $1000 for these once in a life time pictures in Florida. We had used Sarah on two other occasions with no problem. This is extremely disappointing there has been no contact or pictures sent to us.Initial Complaint

I executed a contract on 4/18/22 for a photo shoot that took place on 6/13/22 in Destin, FL and for digital images delivered to me within 6 weeks from the photo shoot. I made a payment of $350 on 4/18/22 and a payment of $420 on 6/13/22, which is the full amount owed for the photo shoot and images. I contacted Sarah Flowers by email on 7/25 (six weeks) and emailed again on 8/2/22 and called and left a message (seven weeks) and she has not responded. I fear that she has taken my money and will not deliver the products of the photo shoot to which I am entitled.Initial Complaint

My family contracted with Sarah Flowers Photography for a photo session on June 5, 2022. Per the contract, we paid $350 (1/2 the booking fee) to secure a slot and paid the other half once our session time and date was confirmed by Sarah. After our session was over, Sarah confirmed that the wait time for the photo gallery was typically 4-6 weeks, as stated in the contract, but that she would keep us updated. At this time it has been 8 weeks, and despite multiple attempts to contact her (phone calls, text messages, and emails) we have not received our photos, nor have we been updated on the progress.Customer response

May 9, 2022 photography session. Paid $650. Contract states 4-6 weeks for photographs to be sent. It's been 11 weeks with no response from owner for 3 weeks.
