WORST DECISION – STAYING AT THE SHORES OF PANAMA Long Story –Short: Staff will evict families with children in the middle of the night for no reason. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE STAYING HERE AND KNOW YOUR RIGHTS TO AVOID A WRONGFUL EVICTION. Full Story: My family stayed at the Shores of Panama – Condo #801 (8th floor), on July 30, 2022 - at 10:30PM – a single firework was set off on the ground directly below our balcony. A fire broke out on the beach and a family member in our condo called 9-1-1 to alert authorities. Shortly after, staff at the Shores of Panama – specifically Norval, Deb and Nikita - came to our condo door, accused us of setting off this firework, served an eviction notice and told us we had one hour to get 6 adults, 2 children and all of our property out. All family members were inside the condo at the time of the FIRST firework. When Panama City Beach Police came to our condo to assist carrying out the eviction, a SECOND FIREWORK was set off in the same location on the beach. Once again, all family members were inside the condo – as police body cam footage will show. Shores of Panama staff were right outside our condo unit during the second firework and claimed the final decision to evict our family came from the “President of the Board”. Although Panama City Beach Police knew we did not set off the firework, staff still carried out the eviction. People staying in the condo next to ours even told police (also seen in the body cam footage) that we did not set off the fireworks. We came back the follow day to see if there was something we could do, and management without talking to us, called police – trespassed us from the property and escorted our family from the property like criminals. We were not shown any proof of footage that we did set off the firework, even though Shore of Panama claimed they had it.
