    On January 5th, 2022 my son had a procedure done at this office. We were quoted a price based upon our insurance which the provider contacted and verified prior to the procedure. After the insurance, the payment we had made to the provider prior to the procedure had a credit balance of slightly over $600. I was told that this couldn't be refunded right away "because we are switching to a new system" and that I would receive a check within 30 days. I left a voice message at 7:56 am on February 23rd, 2022 regarding the refund which I had not received. I did not receive a call back. I called and left another message on March 1st, 2022 and received a call back at 9:22am where I was told that "the insurance did not pay as much as we thought and you have a balance due of $95." I attempted to get clarification on why they contacted the insurance company and gave me a false statement. I was given the run around and did not get a satisfactory answer. This is not the first time this establishment has been suspect in their dealings with myself. I previously had a procedure for my son done and tried to inform them in person that I had new insurance. I was told they would get that information after the procedure and then after said procedure I was told that they needed the information prior to the procedure for them to bill the insurance. I was charged around $200 for that procedure based on their own error which they would not admit to. I am seeking a refund of the $600+ credit I was told I had as well as the roughly $200 for the procedure that was falsely billed to me based on their error.

    (Niceville location) Staff is welcoming but treatment is a hit or miss. My son had a tooth with a deep cavity that needed to have a stainless steel crown put on. At the appointment they said they might have to pull it out and we said whatever was best for my child. My concern is that if the cavity was that bad, the best choice would be to pull the tooth out. They went ahead and did the treatment all so he could be in miserable pain several days after. Also, he never complained about this tooth in the beginning. We took him back in they took x rays which came out completely normal and they sent us out with antibiotics. Took him in again but we knew something isn't right, and they blamed it on a piece of food stuck in his gum line (he ate lunch prior to the appt) and sent us home with an antibiotic mouthwash. We kept flossing his teeth and noticed there was puss coming out of his mouth. Two days later I call the appointment and spoke to Jennifer who kept repeating that it was because of this piece of food when it's a abscess that seems to be getting worse. She had no sympathy at all and told me they couldn't even do anything if I went in. Throughout these days, I kept expressing my concern that I don't like seeing my child like this and he hasn't been sleeping and eating right. My poor child doesn't ever want to back here now due to the trauma. Would not recommend this place anymore, unfortunately. We went to a family dentistry in crestview and took us in ASAP and told us it definitely wasn't right and infected and needed to be taken out asap. She said the x ray shouldn't matter if the problem is visibly seen and she saw how uncomfortable he was and was surprised nothing was done!. She wasn't able to take it out herself so they reached out to other local dentists and went above and beyond for my son to find someone else that could instead of having my son in screaming pain like this place did. This place needs to listen to children's pain and not ignore it. Plain and simple.
