    During the install of our flooring on our stairs we had an issue with a bull nose coming off the thread and they promptly came out to remedy, but my husband specifically requested all the treads on the stair would be fully adhered down to subfloor to prevent further and future damages/issues. instead the installer just shot Brad nails on each tread which was specifically told we did not want but we dealt with it and asked that it be noted in our file just in case this happened again. sure enough 2 years later, now another 2 broken bull nose. We called to report the damage and had a representative out quickly to address and when asked what we would like done to remedy we requested the same thing be done as requested during the initial install issue and all stair bullnose and treads be liquid nailed to subfloor. After no response for 2 weeks we called and were informed that our workmanship warranty is up and that they have no record of these issues in our file. We want this fixed!

    Gosh, I wish I could give a 0-star review. BUYER BEWARE! We tried to hire Barry McEntire/Flooring Depot of Panama City to replace the carpet in our newly purchased home. They committed to doing the work, we ordered the carpet and scheduled. Then they called us and changed the date. We tried to cancel and have our money refunded but they refused. Then a crew shows up at our house on the initial date we requested and we thought they fixed everything. The crew that showed up DESTROYED OUR HOME by scraping walls, ruining the paint, scraping our stairs while dragging old carpet down them. LITERALLY RUINING our hardwood stairs. The carpet was PARTIALLY laid, but cuts and tears everywhere, seams not finished, carpet laid crooked, strings everywhere, cuts in the carpet in random places, bubbling up everywhere it is SO BAD! We tried to ask them to help us they said that it wasn't their crew they only helped us by ordering the carpet... WHAT????? Then they never provided us an NTO (Notice to owner) and filed a lien on our house for the remainder of what the original contract was BUT TOLD US THEIR COMPANY NEVER DID THE WORK. The work isn't done, the house is damaged, they took our money and they didn't follow due process of filing a lien so the lien is a fraud. WOW. BUYER BEWARE! We are great consumers. We always do our best to honor everyone in our journey. We were totally taken for a scam here and are just devestated at this. We cannot believe this is our experience and pray this does not happen to anyone else. AGAIN BUYER BEWARE OF THE FLOORING DEPOT OF PANAMA CITY.

    We have thousands of customers and as in all businesses, some transactions are smooth, while others have issues. However, we have always worked tirelessly to the best of our ability to accommodate and resolve any issue in a timely manner. We take pride in our sales, service and communication. It is our company's desire not to just make a sale but to make happy, lifelong clients. We know that communication is key in everything and the lack of communication has unfortunately brought us to this point with your experience with our company.

    As stated in your review, you and your husband ordered and received carpet and padding from Flooring Depot. You also requested installation prior to a specific date. After re-working our installation schedule to accommodate your needs the installation was completed prior to your requested date. After installation, you and your husband claim to have damage related to installation. Immediately our staff reached out to both you and your husband multiple times in order to resolve any issues. However, our calls and texts were refused. Requests to view the damages in person or at the very least via text photos were ignored. Our persistence of communication in an effort to resolve your concerns led to you and your husband claiming we were "harassing". To this day, we have yet been provided any documentation of damage or installation issues.

    We were committed to making sure that you were a happy customer. However, we have exhausted all efforts to communicate with you and your husband to get this resolved. We can lay our heads down at night knowing that we have done everything fairly, honestly and with strong ethics. Unfortunately, you are disputing the credit card charges for the materials that are clearly installed in your home. Therefore, as a company we have no other option than to pursue legal action for payment. Therefore, this has become a legal matter due to your lack of communication, libelous accusations and failure to pay for materials you received.

    If this is true what you claim, when are you coming to make all repaired? Why haven't you scheduled to replace the carpet? Why are we going about this in a legal manner? You are trying to collect money on unfinished work, untruthful replies and so much more. If you do truly desire to resolve this, you can contact me anytime to schedule the repair of all carpet (new carpet will need to be laid, all furniture taken out of the house, stairs repaired etc. I am shocked in every way you replied. Truly! You are the hardest company to get a hold of. It's like I had to file a BBB complaint just to get a reply. Please I beg of you if this is your desire, PLEASE BE HONORABLE. We have no problem paying for anything we just deserve to have proper work completed and our home repaired. We BEG OF YOU to fix our home if this is what you say you will do.

    Let us take your response and answer your claims. First, you wrote in your review"if what you claim is true when are you coming to repair?" We reached out to you and your husband numerous times immediately after the installation of your carpet so that we could see the damage that you claim to have. We were more than willing to look at and fix anything that was attributed to the installation. We knew you all were on a tight turnaround time with family coming in for the holidays and we were willing to do that. We spoke to your husband on a Friday around 3 pm after your installation. He informed us there were some issues, and we told him that we would reach out the next business day, which was on Monday. We did just that and called several times throughout that day. In addition, our owner texted on Monday evening when we had not heard back from you or your husband. He asked in that text that you please give him a call so that we could schedule with you to review the damage you claim to have and get your carpet fixed. We have a copy of that text as well as documented phone calls where we can prove that we did reach out to both of younumerous times. Our calls and texts to you and your husband were either ignored or unanswered. In addition, when we did finally speak to your husband a few days later, he "claimed" that he had to hire someone else to fix the carpet at a cost that was more than 2.5 times what we initially paid someone to install it for, and which was remarkably close to the remaining amount you owed us. During that conversation, your husband also said that he would NOT be paying the remaining portion of the bill. So, which is it? Does your carpet need repairing or is it already repaired per what your husband said?

    Second, your claim of, "You are the hardest company to get hold of." We are very accessible. Not only do we have two physical locations that are open Monday through Saturday that you could have walked in to at any time during operating hours to file a claim, show us pictures of your damage, or speak to our owner, we have four active phone lines and no less than ten people who answer those phone lines. You also had the owner's personal cell phone number as well as your salesperson's personal cell phone number. In addition, we emailed youso you had that contact email as well. You could have texted, called, or emailed at any time. You did not do any of those things. During the above-mentioned conversation with your husband, he claimed that because we had reached out numerous times that we were allegedly "harassing you." So, we are confused by your comments here.

    Thirdly, you stated, "PLEASE BE HONORABLE." Mrs. ******, we are very honorable. We bent over backwards to get your product here and installed so that you could be ready for your guests during the Thanksgiving holidays. We tried to reach out to you and your husband repeatedly and both of you ignored our attempts to correct any problems that you claim to have had. Now, you are disputing your initial credit card payment for reasons that keep changing. However, you readily admit in this review that you received the products. What we have a tough time understanding, is that if you genuinely wanted your home fixed or repaired or even new product installed like you claim here in this review, why didn't you either answer or return our phone calls or text messages and work with us so that we could review the problems you say that you had? We cannot fix problems that we have not seen. At the beginning of this issue, we reached out in good faith and wanted to make you and your husband happy. However, your words and your actions do not reflect the same intentions. For us, this is now a legal matter.
