The contract called for an 20 foot shed, when they got to property to build they said they cannot do it because of a fence. I would have to get a upcharge to remove the shed or shorten the shed. I opted for the shorter shed (35% shorter). I was told that not to worry they will adjust the price when it gets back to the office. I also asked and was promised shelves I never got. They never gave me a change order - nothing. As the average consumer would think I did some comparisons to the size of the shed and found that 35% reduction in the bill would have been fine. However, greedy Tool time still thought I should pay full price less $359.00. They drilled a hole into my irrigation system, damaged my fence, left trash all over my yard, and never installed the shelves in my now 13 foot shed. After trying to reason with them and being bullied by the men that work there, they refused to let me speak to the owner, however they reduced the bill $1000. I didn't agree and went back and tried again, even tried to schedule a meeting with the owner James *********, however I got no where and now they are threatening a Lein on my property. Nothing has been filed yet, I am asking the BBB to help before this gets way out of hand.

The customer was informed by the installers that her preferred size she requested. Would require her fence to be removed and would incur further cost. She chose to shrink the size of the build. When the final invoice was sent she informed our accounting department of the change in size. We reduced the cost of the shed to reflect the changes she made. She wasn't happy with the final number. She then informed us of problems she had with the build. When we offered to come back out to address any concerns she informed us she had fixed the minor imperfections herself. We have went above and beyond to try to make her happy, but she has resisted us at every turn. This matter has been resolved through our attorney.

I disagree with what they are saying.  They did not do anything to resolve anything.  My irrigation system is still broken, my fence is still damaged, I still had to pick up after grown men with their cigarette butts, soda containers, and screws.  I still have a shed with no shelves and I had to have someone else come in and hammer all the nails down that were sticking out all over.  None of this is “minor issues”.  The complaint will have to be unresolved forever as Tool Time is only interested in pursuing legal action instead of negotiating.  There was only $800 difference at one point between our numbers and Tool Time - bully - decided that wasn’t enough money for them and still threatened with a lien on my property and to “hash it out in court”.  The problem is that after hurricane Michael there were non-payment issues with other customers and instead of negotiating Tool Time has decided they need to only use legal force with everyone no matter if they are right or wrong.  The president James ********* refused to even meet with me.  I am a very reasonable person, everyone should be paid for what they do, but not like this - this was horrible and they accept no responsibility.  I am a widowed mother which puts my time for my family as number one on my list.  To take on Tool TIme and their nonsense in court, even though I have the pictures of all the damage, no selves, no signed change order, 12 other contractors I have used in the last 9 months that will attest to me being very fair and responsible, I just can’t take precious time from my kids for a greedy company.  Point blank, if they would have done the change order - per contract - we would not be here.  They overcharged not only a widowed mother, but a disabled veteran, obviously they don’t support either.  The only time they support either is if it goes there way and mistakes on their part are not made.  They are all about bullying and overcharging for sub standard work.  I am happy I have contractors that were willing to help me with the fence and the nails, and I had to be their maid and clean up after the sloppy workers.  This will never be resolved in my mind, unless they give me back the original $1400 difference between what they should have charged me versus what they bullied their way to taking from me.  This is a contractor that does not communicate, bullies customers, are absolutely disrespectful to customers property, don't finish projects (my shed needs shelves and I paid for a bigger shed).  Jordan is a bully, Ryan never responds to anyone, the workers are disrespectful to customers property, and Mr. ********* - the owner - refused to meet so he hides from customers.  I could have very well done the court thing, however I am on a fixed income, I don't have Tools Times money to sling around up front.  I would have won this and gotten all of my money back, however at what cost to my family - again when you lose someone life is in a different light.  Congratulations Tool Time for stealing $1400 from my kids.

I am rejecting this response because: as I stated in my previous response.  Tool Time has no integrity.  They never tried anything to resolve anything - they just threatened legal action.  Their owner should step up and be an owner.

      Sincerely,
