      I had my roof replaced and during it getting done they got black marks from the old shingles all over the sides of the house. They bend some of the metal that goes around the edge of the roof. They got black hand prints everywhere that they touched and didn't clean them off before they left. Got black marks all over my driveway. I told them about everything and sent guys back to try to fix it. They bought pant to cover the black marks but now I have two colors of paint everywhere. Plus they got paint that dripped all over other things. The supervisor texted my saying derogatory things to me. I'm not happy at all

      The process of tearing off and replacing a roof can get a bit messy but we are sorry that the process was uncommonly more so in this case. Please note that the roof and drip edge were replaced appropriately according to FL Building Code and did pass it's final inspection without any hiccups. As for the marks, when the homeowner informed us of the marks, handprints, ect, we arranged for our crew to come back and fix those items. The hand prints were cleaned off, the black marks were cleaned off, and we even painted the entire upper story of the house to fix the affected areas from the roof installation. The photos that were referenced in this complaint don't show the finished fixes. I have attached photos showing the completed front of the home and also the side of the home after the cleaning agent had completely dried. All affected areas had appropriate measures taken to fix them.

      I am rejecting this response because: the pics of the side don't show from that angle that the paint left where they covered up the marks. The paint that they say they painted to entire second story wasn't to same color as everything else and that's not acceptable to anyone. There's no way they would or anyone would allow that at there house so I don't either. When they tried to paint the white pillers in front, they got white paint on other things of mine as well which still haven't been taken care of even after telling them about it. Not a good company that fixes issues they mess up

      Again, it is unfortunate that the roofing process was uncommonly messy in the case of this particular roof replacement. However, as you can see in our before and after photos that we had previously uploaded in response, the handprints, marks, and the like were cleaned off and we had even gone so far as to paint the entire upper story of the front of the house to fix the marks. The photos that the homeowner had referred to and uploaded did not show the completed fixes and in our before and after photo attachment you can see the side of the house up close after the cleaner had dried. Again, all affected areas from the roof replacement were corrected and do not warrant any additional corrections.

      Art construction built my house in 2019 permit #RB18-0579. Called several people, never returned my calls. Problems: roof over garage leaks, started when house was less than 2 years old. Water heater broke, ac broke, sewer lift station broke, shower leaked into the downstairs kitchen. Request my roof be fixed and reimbursed for poor craftsmanship, quality and materials. I have had several roof inspectors look at the roof and they are appalled at the workmanship and quality of the construction. Several inspectors didn't believe me when I said the roof was not even 2 years old, they had to look it for themselves

We have over 100 phone lines coming into the office and emails received daily. We did build the house in 2019. As with all New Construction the warranty is 1 year per the state of Florida. We often service our clients outside of Warranty in many cases. This house was sold to another individual named ****** **** who would have been the client who owned the home during the warranty period. According to the Bay County Property Appraisers office the house was sold to ***** ***** on July 12th 2021 which is outside of the warranty. We had all inspections completed by the building department and were issued the Certificate of Occupancy on 11-26-2019. The original owner ****** **** lived in the house during and beyond the 1 year warranty period. Again we have no record of any calls or emails related to this house or any knowledge until today of a new owner. As far as the water heater, HVAC units, and lift station we do not manufacture these items we only install them. The manufacture would be the one to warrant these items. As far as the upstairs shower leaking we have no calls from the original owner during or after the warranty period for any issues with this shower leak or any other issues. As for the roof leaks. Did the client get a home inspection during the purchase of the home because we have no knowledge of a leak from the original owner during or after the warranty period. When homes are out of warranty it is always recommended to have a home inspection during purchase and home insurance to mitigate any issues homeowners may have in the future. Workmanship for roofing is 5 years, while the shingles are warranted for 25 to 30 years. So your company doesn't stand behind your work, even though you are primarily a roofing company? The warranty for the Shingles is supplied by the manufacturer to the original purchaser. The warranty that ****** **** received was not transferable from the manufacturer. The roof had no issues or warranty calls from the original owner. If you have an issue with your roof you can simply call us and we can come out and review at the issues you are having but you must realize that you will continue to have mechanical items fail in any home you own you will continue to have to maintain the homes you own. Did you have a home inspection when you purchased the home? Did you not purchase the home warranty when you purchased the home? Do you not have homeowners insurance? Those are presented to every buyer when buying a home as options. These are all options that would have helped you or will help you when you own a hone. My house was built by ART Construction and has numerous problems, the roof leak is one and this company calls itself a roofing company that cares about its customers, don't think so. The leak started when the roof was only 22 months old, called several roofers, they all told me to contact ART Construction. The insurance company, also said the same, they don't cover bad or poor quality of workmanship. Find another company. I emailed you on 9/10/2021, trying to get help, then again on 29 June 2022. This was way before the BBB complaint. also called four times, 20 October 2021 and 22 October 2021, again trying to get some kind of help. I also, called 29 June 2022 and yep you guessed it, again on 13 July 2022. Talked to Sheila. So, as you can see I have been trying, you also have my phone #, email, address and legal lot description. Don't tell me I'm abusing BBB, you are ones that can't build a roof that last longer than 22 months. If didn't leak you wouldn't have heard of me.
