We purchased a 2004 GMC sierra. The truck began overheating on its way home. We took the vehicle to the service station for inspection. Ultimately found to have blown head gasket and total engine had to be replaced. Significant mileage discrepancy was noted. Verified by Carfax. Attempted to contact dealership, and was told I needed to speak to the owner to further discuss. "Adam" advised me that the truck was exempt and he had no record regarding cluster change or odometer discrepancy. This "Adam" said he would provide me with the number for the business owner via text and ended the call. No number received. Ultimately blocked. They knowingly sold a vehicle with odometer discrepancy and knowingly sold a vehicle with major mechanical issues. Unfortunately for me, being unethical isn't always illegal. We have made necessary repairs out of pocket, but unable to resell to an individual due to odometer discrepancy. Shameful business practices.
