After having an in person consultation with Florida Solar and Air, I had finalized with the sales representative the replacement of an existing impact window. The paperwork was signed and a deposit was taken via credit card. The following day, I was notified by the sales rep that the company will not move forward with the job as it was not worth their time and below their dollar threshold. They offered to do the job for a minimum dollar figure which was above the cost we had agreed upon. An alternative was to include an additional job to bring the total dollar amount to meet their threshold which was beyond what I had budgeted and what we agreed upon. I requested a refund which I am currently waiting for but needless to say the company left me stranded and seeking an alternative. This is not the way to conduct good business especially after an agreement and a deposit had been given.Review from Joel F

Unfortunately, I had the worst experience with this company. It all started with them not taking correct window measurements, and the product arrived with cosmetic defects. I had a big frame cut in one corner that was even forced, and the rest of my windows are filled in with massive caulking all around to hide the gap. The assembly of these windows have separations with very cheap quality parts. I have water intrusion making my entire wall soft and it's causing heavy moisture with high cost repairs. My windows actually wobble it seems like they can fall off the frame not stable at all. I can honestly say there can't be a worse company in the world which is why they will pressure you to sign right away. You can definitely get better quality windows at a flea market vs this garbage company.Review from Omar L.

Contracted November 2022, windows and door plus roof. Windows and door installed 3 months later, one window cracked, electric doorbell taken off. Both issues took time to resolve, window project manager who was never on site argued with me about the prior existence of doorbell.Roof not permitted until February 2023, installation quick but lacking ventilation as per city. Poor communication from roof project manager. Required ventilation installed haphazardly July 5th, waiting for final inspection scheduled for July 6th. Even though we used PACE program price was astronomical.Florida Solar & Air, Inc. Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent window and roof projects with our company. We greatly value your input, as it helps us improve our services and ensure a better experience for all our customers.
First and foremost, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delays in the window installation. As you mentioned, the contract was signed on November 21, 2022, and we began the installation on January 25, 2023. Our contract clearly states that the installation timeline falls within a range of ****** days from the date of contract signing. While we strive to complete projects within the shorter end of the range, unforeseen circumstances can occasionally arise, leading to slight delays.
Regarding the stress crack in one of the window glasses, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. However, we took immediate action to rectify the issue by ordering a replacement glass and promptly replacing it. Our aim is to deliver high-quality products and ensure your complete satisfaction, and we appreciate your patience during this process.
We also want to address the matter concerning the doorbell wiring. We regret that this issue was not caught before installation, and we understand the inconvenience it caused you. As a gesture of goodwill, we issued you a credit to cover the repair of the doorbell wire. It is always our intention to provide exceptional service, and we apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.
Regarding your roof project, we apologize for any confusion or frustration caused during the permitting process. As per our understanding, the inspector had initially informed us that it was acceptable to proceed with closing the roof during the in-progress inspection, as long as we obtained an engineer letter. However, it later came to our attention that the city could not accept an engineer letter and required a revision for the engineer details. We understand that this may have caused delays, and we appreciate your patience throughout the permitting process. We are pleased to inform you that we passed the final inspection on July 6, 2023, indicating the successful completion of your roof project.
Please know that we take your feedback seriously and will use it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. We continuously strive to enhance our processes and ensure a seamless experience for our valued customers.
If there is anything else we can assist you with or if you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team. We appreciate your business and the trust you have placed in us.Review from Alejandra G

Florida Solar and Air installed the impact windows in my condo in mid-December 2021. During the installation it was discovered that incorrect windows had been delivered for my dining room. They had to be reordered with a delivery and installation scheduled for early March 2022. This mistake forced me to take an additional 4 days off from work unpaid to be home in March. In mid-December I began the conversation with the customer service team about receiving compensation for missing 4 additional days of work due to the company's error and was told I would receive such compensation on a gift card once the project was completed. No amount was decided upon at that time. I had multiple conversations with the customer service team between mid-December and early March and each time was told that the amount would be determined upon completion of the project. When the correct windows were installed and the project completed, I was told the amount of compensation for missing 4 additional days of work would be $100, $25 for each missed day of work (the project cost me $35,000). I was not satisfied with that amount so I contacted the president of the company via email on March 30 since the sales representative who signed my contract encouraged me to reach out directly to the president with any concerns. In my email I asked for an additional $400 to make it $125 for each of my missed days of work. As of today, April 20, I still have not received the decency of a response to my email. I find this inaction to be the height of unprofessional behavior. When I spend $35,000 on a home improvement project, I rightfully expect a company to take responsibility when a mistake is made. The president of this company completely dropped the ball on this one.Review from Linda V
