I booked a hair appointment on Sunday and made a deposit of 30$ to be held until my appointment day. I was told I had 24 hours to cancel. I called back the next day to cancel and get a refund and was told You cant get a refund because it is too close to your appointment date, which is incorrect because my appointment date is in 2 days. I called my bank to and was told that my money had already been taken from my account.Business response

As per our policy, we require deposits for certain bookings and first time clients that are applicable to final billing. We train all of our Front Desk Coordinator's to provide the proper disclaimer prior to securing any booking. Any time a client makes a deposit they have 48hrs prior to their appointment to cancel and receive their deposit back. In this situation there was definitely a misunderstanding. However, as a reputable and honest business we have decided to refund this client and have already processed the refund. The client should see this reflected in their account within 3-5 business days.
