We hired Certified Moving Solutions on 5/9/22 to move our house hold goods from ND to **. Several times a representative *********************, called from the company to update our quote based on the amount of items we had. The quote originally started at $9,500 and the final quote was $13,827. We couldn't cancel the move at this point because the deposit was non refundable. **** told us that this was a binding estimate, that even if we went over the estimated volume we would not have to pay more as long as there were no additional items added. The movers came to pick up our items on 7/25/22. There were 4 men in a Penske truck who came to load and move our stuff. After they loaded they told us that we used more room than quoted and we had to pay more money. When I told him that was not the case and pulled out our contract, the movers said they didn't know what I was talking about. I tried calling **** with no luck of getting a hold of him. I called the company and they said **** has not worked there for months, and that we had to pay more. I paid $275 extra. The driver told us that they would deliver our things between Aug 1-3. When no one contacted us about the delivery on those days we called multiple times to the company and the driver without being able to get a hold of anyone. The driver finally called us and told us that they would arrive between Aug ****. No one came. Then the driver told us that someone will deliver our things on Aug 11. No one came, the next day we got a text saying that they blew a tire and will at our place on Aug 14. No one came. On Aug 19, the drive told us they have been stopped by the police in ***********, **. We contacted the police **** there and had to go pick up our items. The truck was a mess, our things were just thrown in there, many boxes broken or ripped. We have missing items and broken things. To this day no one from the company has contacted us. We have left multiple messages and emails, with no response from the company.

My wife and I signed up to use this company for a move from Washington to *******, the transaction was July 14th, 2022. and we were supposed to have movers come between 7/28-7/31. We had confirmation they would be there the morning of 7/30 and they never showed. Contract allowed for one more day but no call and no show. We called the company multiple times and sent emails with no response from anyone.Because they did not show we had to store our belongings in the unit we were moving out from for an extra 9 days before we got a different company to do the work.We flagged the deposit and fraudulent and got it back but I just found out our apartment complex is now charging us for an entire month of rent and keeping our deposit. We are now out another $2,621.15 because of this. If the company had shown up we would not have this extra balance over our head to take care of. I believe the company owes us this money for their fault. We should not have to pay the consequences twice because they did not do what we hired them to do.I don't know how to go about this but I need them to pay for this outstanding balance they have caused us. We just bought a house and now owe this money. It is not right and they need to be held accountable for their actions and terrible business ethic.

Upon agreeing to a price, the price more than doubled upon pickup. during the waiting period I got a call from the original man who set the deal up (***********************) claiming he needed another payment of $850 in which I obliged, only to find out he was a supposed former employer who was scamming people! Robbed $850 sent through venmo with no recourse. So my moving date comes and they don't show up as scheduled causing more financial hardship. Its is nearly impossible to reach anyone, and once you do its someone different every time with a different story. I finally got a hold of a man name *****, who is the operation manager. Speaking with him he offered me a $500 refund for everything at which point I accepted ( at least it was something) Now as time goes by I am no longer able to reach him and have no refund! I think there is a larger scam going on here and needs to end!

On 3/28/22, I contacted Certified Moving Solutions, LLC by phone to coordinate a move from ***********, ********** to ***************** ** on 3/31/22 and no later than 4/1/22.After a lengthy conversation over the phone and reaching an agreement, I was sent a contract via email by the representative *************************************** that I was speaking with for an estimated total of $1284 and a deposit of $513.60, and $384.38 to be paid directly to the driver in ** and the balance of $384.38 paid to the driver upon arrival in MO.On 3/29/22 at 1pm cst I received a call stating that the driver was asking for an additional $260 in order to pick up the items being shipped.I later received a call from ***** who adjusted the price upwards by $130, which we agreed to pay, and the company would absorb the balance. Changing the figures to $449.38 being paid to the driver both times.Later on that day we got a call saying the driver wanted to come on 3/30/22 (a day early)Now today 3/30/22 the driver shows up and says the price for the move will be $2000 total, they said the company misrepresented but what's stopping them from upping the price after the items are loaded on the truck, is also another concern.Because of the urgent need to have the items shipped, we were left with no options.I consider this to be extortion, my sister said bait and switch. Either way, they should be held accountable. It was after hours for the company so I left the details with the answering service rep, who assured me a manager would call me back in the morning.
