Amazing pavers came out and installed new pavers on 9/17/21 in my backyard. The installation was paid in full. After they were installed they were to be sealed. It was raining prior, during, and after the sealer job, which you never seal wet pavers. We even spoke to the man that came out to seal and told him it might not be a good idea to start sealing as it was clearly about to rain. He said he'll talk to his boss ******, who told him to go ahead and do it. As this man was done and packing up his tools in his car rain came pouring down. I spoke to ****** and he does not want to admit that it was done wrong and is trying to convince me that it was normal to seal pavers when wet and that the pavers were sealed correctly. His only concern was to collect. I refused to pay the $500 for the sealer job because ****** won't take accountability and redo my pavers with sealer again correctly. He threatened to put a lean on my property. My pavers are now ruined, they're discolored and cloudy

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/28) */ Contact Name and Title: ****** ******* Contact Phone: ***/XXX-XXXX Contact Email: *************@gmail.com Mr. ***** is is looking for a free job. We did extra work for him on the installation side which he refused to pay for. After the sealer was done he stated he simply didn't like it. I told him I Would go by the property to look at the finished product. Upon my inspection I saw nothing wrong with the sealer and let him know that I did not see any problems with it. His response was well I'm not going to pay you. This morning we sent him via certified mail a notice to owner. If he does not pay us the balance that is due to us we will be placing a lien on his property. As you can see from the attached pictures, the sealer is perfectly done. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/09/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It wasn't as simple as, "I didn't like it", it was my pavers were not sealed correctly which is what I would assume a professional would know how to do. ******'s own installers told me that we were not supposed to seal the tiles so soon, they needed at least two days to settle in and dry in the sun. Again, you just can't seal wet tiles. It was raining before, during , and after the sealer job. Take accountability and redo the sealer. I do not need a free job, I just want it done right. The botched sealer job was the last straw for me. I let a lot go with the installation, from the puddling, the loose , crooked and chipped tiles, which I talked about with ****** and he assured me that when all is done he'll take a look at it, which never happened. Bottom line, I just want Amazing Pavers to correct their mistakes that could of been avoided. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/10/06) */ As previously said, they are looking for a free job. Our pictures show the quality of work. The son was outside the entire time talking to the gentlemen that was sealing the entire time, so the fact that they are stating that it rained the entire time before during and after is an outright lie. The customer has been lying since the beginning of the project when he stated he had a certain amount of sq ft. And it ended up being 100 sq ft larger than he had stated. We picked up the extra material for him free of charge and then he refused to pay the extra charge of 350.00 to install it. Clearly there is an intention here to get free work and think they can just write the BBB and get away with it. A notice to owner has been sent and filed and we will be placing a lien on the property on the 15th of this month if the full balance isn't paid. Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2021/10/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It's very unfortunate that Amazing Pavers doesn't want to take accountability and come back out and fix their mistakes. I have written multiple times and told ****** that I am more than willing to pay, however, I just need the job done correctly and professionally as expected with a company that installs and seals pavers. This company does not care about the quality of their work and just cares about taking your money, regardless of customer satisfaction. ****** needs to understand you fix the job and you get paid, no free job needed. I've been doing business with many companies for many years and not once had any problems or dealt with such unprofessionalism as Amazing Pavers. At the end of the day, ******, you are deflecting the main point in which all I want is for you to fix your mistakes and I will have no problem paying you after you do the job I hired you for correctly. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2021/10/18) */ I will not be going on a back-and-forth with this customer. We went out and did the job exactly what they requested. You have seen the pictures that we have submitted and you have read the comments about how they refused to pay. At this point the customer is asking us to go out and finish the job. They have not paid for anything that has been done. He refused to pay for the sealer that was done and he refused to pay for the additional installation that was done so at this point the ball is in their court they can pay us what they owe us and we will not place a lien on the property. Or they can choose not to pay what is owed to us and we will place a lien on their property. We have gone above and beyond and will not continue with a back-and-forth
