      Not one star but negative stars. I had a 7 day rental at one of Paradise Beach Home properties I was only able to stay for 2 days. I cleaned for hours, both days, trying to make it livable. It was filthy (bugs, mildew, mold) and had exposed rotted wood with nails coming from the deck. There was a pile of rotted wood with rusted stakes sticking out that were aligning the bay we were supposed to access. The entire reason we rented this location was to access the water and use the boat we rented. We weren't able to do either of these things. The listing on Paradise Beach Homes site did not state the property was under construction. There was a small sign apologizing for the hazardous construction. We decided to leave after our child fell off the pier and skinned his knees. When I spoke with the office manager Marla, she was not understanding or professional at all, rolled her eyes about 14 times in conversation and said she disagreed with me. Very immature and emotionally unintelligent. The situation could have been handled differently. They didnt refund any of our payment of $3,686 and would not work with us. I am disappointed with the experience we had with Paradise Beach homes and after the issue the experience with the office manager, who is supposed to resolve matters, not escalate them. I will never rent a property from this rental management company again. This property was not ready for guests and was very unsafe for a vacation stay.

      Ms. *******, I'll repeat my Google review response here. We are a wonderful rental management company and we take very good care of our guests! We did not have the opportunity to address any cleaning issues at all and nothing was mentioned about any construction. We would have been more than happy to have sent our housekeeping crew and maintenance team to the home to address anything you felt needed attention but instead of calling us right away, you waited 3 days before insisting that we give you a full refund. I don't know of any company that would refund money when you've already stayed 3 days and didn't even give us the opportunity to see what cleaning issues you had much less address those issues. We even offered to move you to another property and you declined. Again, we take very good care of our guests. If we had done anything wrong in this situation, we would have provided an apology and some sort of refund but you didn't give us the opportunity to address your concerns and then decided to post a bad review on our Google page and now on the BBB website as retaliation. To all other rental management companies, we have blacklisted this guest and we suggest you do the same.
