Gross and Sons Paint and Body has been repairing my 2015 Honda Accord since 03/2023 concerning an accident from 12/14/2022. There was driver side rear end panel damaged that was covered by a third party entity. The cost of repair was inflated related to other estimates that were given; however, i thought i was working with the best in the area. Since completion of the work in 06/2023, i have returned my vehicle back to Gross and Son's 1x to replace a wheel that was charge for but not replaced. The wheel was replaced the following week. As of date, the trunk is leaking and had been returned 3x's for repair. The second that my car was picked up for this problem, none of the brackets were put back in place. Currently, this third time my car has been with Gross and Son's paint and body since 10/06/'2023 with no resolution to the problem. A rental has been provided for there return's however the condition of the tires on the rental restricts my travel due to my fear of safety. I am requesting that the BBB intervenes to assist in getting this problem finally rectified. Thank you.Initial Complaint

a stolen vehicle with broken ignition lock and steering column was broth inn for an estimate., after few days, i got a call from the shop and i was advised that the vehicle have storage fee for about 1k $ then after back and forth they said they can cut a deal for 799 then 600 .... EDIE WAS SUPER RUDE AND NON-EDUCATED PERSON ...... HE JUST HANG UP THE PHONE, I STOPPED BY THE SHOP AND ASKED An EXPLANATION, WHEN HE SAID : (THIS IS MY SHOP AND I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT TO DO I CAN PUT ANY RULLES I WANT) , WHEN I ASKED IF HE KNEW THE FLORIDA SHOP STORAGE FEE LAWS, AND APPRAISAL FEES LAWS, HE SAID HE KNOW , AND INSTEAD OF 1K$ OR 600 OR 700$ HE PRINTED A 150$ PLUS TAXES AROUND 160$ AT THE END HE SAID BY THE LAW IF IT'S LOWER 500$ YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING THAT'S SUPER SAD AND BAD TO HAVE A EMPLOYESS LIKE THAT, I HAVE CONTACTED MY ATTOURNEY ON DUTY AND THAT'S WHY THE PRINTED INVOICE WAS REQUESTED, BECAUSE OF EDDIE, THE SHOP CAN GET A LAWSUIT IF THE OPERATION WILL BE MADE LIKE THAT WITH ALL CUSTOMERS !!! UNDER FLORIDA LAWS A SHOP CANNOT CHARGE ANYTHING UNLESS IT'S DISCLOSED TO THE CUSTOMER EDDIE KELLEY DOING UNLAWFUL STUFF IN THE SHOP AND HE JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT LAWS..... On TOP OF THAT EDDIE WRITING SOME COMENTS AND REWIEW TO A DIFFERENT BUSSINS WITCH CAN TURN IN A LAW SUIT.Defamation is a tort, which means it is a civil wrong, so you can file suit to obtain monetary damages from the person who committed it. The purpose of a civil lawsuit is typically to obtain monetary compensation to make you whole for the damage done. If you win and the defendant loses their case, you receive payment.Business response

THIS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN RESOLVED , THIS CUSTOMER WAS EXPLAINED AND AWARE OF ALL CHARGES, HE CAME INTO OUR BUSINESS BEING VERY RUDE AND DISRUPTIVE, WE MADE THE DECISION TO LOWER THE BILL TO JUST BE DONE WITH IT , EVEN THOUGH WE COULD HAVE CHARGED HIM FULL PRICE, THANKYOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO OUR ATTENTION.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: WE WILL NEED A FULL REFUND OTHERVISE WE WILL FILE A COMPLAIN WITH Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, TO HAVE EVERITHING INVESTIGATED, THE GENERAL MANAGER HANG UP ON THE PHONE AND STATING THAT WE WAS RUDE?????? THAT'S A LIE, WHEN HE WAS ASKING 1K $ STORAGE FEE, THEN HE SAID HE CAN CUT A DEAL????? SERIOSLLY CUT A DEAL??? FOR 700 $ WHEN WE WAS CONSULTATED BY OUR LEGAL ADVISER TO VISIT THE BODY SHOP AND GET THE PAPERWORK INVOICES OR WHATEVER DEALS THIS MANAGER GOT, WHEN WE ASKED IS HE KNOW THE FLORIDA LAWS, HE SAID IF HE WILL CHARGE LOWER THAN 500$ WE CANNOT SUE HIM AND GET A SMALL COURT.
