      They charged my wife 400 dollars to replace a battery. She did not know. When I called they said they went off the Mitchell book. I called Gulfbreeze Tire they charge 250 dollars for same service

      Customer was given 229.00 refund for difference of battery price in napa and what we charged her . She paid battery same as napa retail store . Other charges are labor to replace battery and diagnostic fee for engine light, electrical check and reset .

      I authorized a scan and diagnoses for a check engine light, P1700 needs to be reflashed. The shop verified that they had the necessary equipment to repair a smart car. They removed the transmission, inserted a rebuilt one and held my vehicle hostage until $9645.18 was paid in cash or cashiers check. I then found out they installed a rebuilt transmission with 40K miles! My Smart car is still not fixed. Now after charging $9646.18 your shop did not fix the problem and I still have a flashing D light on my dash as well as a new wrench indicator light. Your shop told me to take it to the dealership for programming. That is exactly why I brought my car to your shop in the first place, you said you could reprogram it! My car was at least dependable before I brought it to your place of business. My car is still not fixed. One dash light on upon entering your business and now two dash lights on departing your business. I will NOT recommend you or your shop to anyone and you can take that to the bank.

      On Nov. 1st 2023 Bobby Likis Auto Service gave me an estimate to replace an engine in a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. They replaced it with a faulty engine and because it was under warranty they said they would replace it. That was approximately November 28, 2023. The car has been parked at their location since then. Today is January 18, 2024. They have provided no compensation for the grave inconvenience this has caused. I inquired about a refund because the Nissan dealer agreed to replace it with a brand new engine for 13,000. Bobby Likis refused and reported the new engine would be in soon. Apparently, they received another damaged engine and returned it, but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the truth. I was trying to help my daughter and her family by having their car fixed. Her and her husband work full time and provide for their three children. This ordeal has gone on far too long and I’d hate for other families to have to go through this. This business takes advantage of hard working people and refuses to compensate for their mistakes. I feel sure they have also been dishonest in their dealings because we’ve been told different information depending on which service rep we spoke to. Thank you for any assistance you can provide in reaching an acceptable resolution.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The “replacement” engine broke down within two days after picking up the vehicle.  We had to spend  nearly three thousand dollars additional with Sandy Sansing Nissan to get the car running correctly again, work that Sansing said should have been included with the engine replacement.  We went to Sansing after the Bobby Likis manager told us our “three year warranty was used to replace the first engine and the second engine only has a six month, parts only warranty.”  They refused to provide any evidence of the warranty.  They also refused to repair damage to the car that was done while it sat on their lot for over a month.  A substantial narrative of this ordeal has been sent to the BBB representative handling this complaint, and can be provided again if necessary.

      The date of transaction was December 28th 2023. I was seeking a possible repair for my VVT Solenoid and an engine degrease. Car was turned in working and fully drivable with minor hiccups in high revs I was looking for a solution to that and was unsure if my diagnosis was correct or not. They held my car for 2 weeks and eventually told me that the cars ECU may be causing the problems and I had to explain to the tech that resetting my ECU could blow my engine and risk me losing the car and explained what I wanted them to do in detail, replace VVT solenoid if need be and diagnose my VVT phasers while replacing the solenoid. They quoted me 2913.88 as the charge for that and I accepted thinking the job would turn some answers and or fix the issues with the car. I get a call a couple days later saying the work was completed and they are having further issues with the car and promptly hung up on me. After a few days of waiting anxiously I got a call saying that my car's engine had low compression on cylinder one (new issue my compression was tested by another shop a couple weeks prior and was entirely good with no issues) they then told me I could pick up the car or have them replace the engine with a used one and of course still charging me for the parts and labour even though they were responsible for the damages. They than offered me a free oil change worth up to $75 after sending the owner a few text exchanges even though they ended up completely killing my engine leaving me with at least another $7k-$9k worth of damages. If the tech would have told me he wasn't capable of doing the work, I would have taken it to another shop versus having my car held hostage for a couple weeks to then realize they completely destroyed my engine. The time frame of this was between Dec 15th and Dec 28th and it was for a 2019 Toyota 86 with 40656 miles on the car.

      Please see attachment of many problems with this car and look at diagnostic paper work and customer concerns . Customer was well aware of issue, he was trying  to fix problems for months without success and even he mentioned that they race cars . Customer was discussed about failures of the engine and we recommend to replace the engine but he decline and wanted to stop oil leaks only from solenoids and thats what we did per his request .Customer also mentioned that he moving or going  out of town and he will replace engine nowhere else . For now I just want to stop oil leaks from solenoids , His words . Nothing is wrong with job we did .

      Had verbal estimate of transmission replacement in my 2003 H2 and when called to pick vehicle was one thousand dollars more than estimate.Also when putting my vehicle in the shop rear window was broken out and was told to call my insurance company to replace,well my deductible was one thousand dollars so that didn't work. Asked if they would replace my window since it was broke in there shop was told no.They taped up rear window took my $3300.00 for bill and sent me on my way.No not happy with the way this shop treated me and when I came to pick up vehicle it was completely out of gas had to have a gallon added to get to gas station.

      Customer left his vehicle at the shop , for 2 months, since he could not afford to pay  previously authorized job. After multiple calls he finally came to pick it up. At that time rear windshield was cracked. Car was here on the rear parking lot for 2 months . We can not be responsible for any damages on parking lots or damage by weather conditions or vandalism. Thats why we all have insurance on the car to protect us from uncertainty.

      I went to Bobby linkis Automotive to have transmission work done I spoke with the attendant Justin when in the shop I told him that the passenger side door should not be open the window was taped up .After that we did our conversation on the phone. We talked about flush jobs but he told me the price and I said no and he adding on to the invoice we also talked about a finance company which he found for me for the $6000 that he said my bill would be in the finance company turned out to be something that I could not afford which is something else I need to talk about on the another complaint. When I went to go get my car the passenger window was down they removed all the tape Justin said that they put all the cars inside at night I asked why did they open the door he could not tell me he even told me after I said I asked for the door not to be opened that he has a lot of cars and he didn’t even see my car when I came in but he went out to get the vin number from the car .because the window was left open the car got wet inside. The seat has molded on it and the floorboard was wet and he only offered was to wipe the seat off .

      This auto service misdiagnosed my air conditioning problem for my truck and won’t take my calls for a resolution. They claimed the reason it was blowing warm air was that I need new compressor, evaporator expansion valve, accumulator & clean/replace the evaporator for estimate of $4100. I agree to replacing everything except the evaporator for $2000 because the tech told me the air temp would be about 60-65 degrees. After getting the truck back the air temp the same as before so I returned the truck so they could recheck their work and was told that they were 100% sure I needed the evaporator cleaned for an additional $2000. I declined the additional repair and took the truck to another auto service center and they quickly diagnosed the problem: 1 pound low on Freon and a leak in the high side service port. The repair was $500 and the air temp is now cold like normal. I am seeking a refund from Bobby Likis for the misdiagnosis and unnecessary repairs that did not fix the problem. I talked to the Manager Elizabeth on Tuesday 6/13 and she said she would call me back with a resolution. After not hearing from her I call back today Friday 6/16 and was put on hold for 11 minutes. Called back and was told Elizabeth was unavailable. Very unprofessional business!

      My vehicle was dropped off to Bobby Likis on April 25,2023 for an oil change. Upon arrival my transmission went out so i informed the front desk rep Justin. He stated that i would need a diagnostic done .So i let him know that i had a warranty and provided him wit that information once i arrived back home. I received a call back the next day saying my claim was approved for $10,095 but im still responsible for pay $3,000+ out of pocket for labor,1 hour of diagnostics, etc. I disagreed, because i have a full powertrain warranty with $100 deductible. Then im told ill get a call back. In between calls i spoke with my warranty company who stated i should only be paying deductible because i have Full coverage .After i get a call back saying i only have to pay $1,000+(disagreed),then $300+(disagreed),now i dont have to pay anything not even deductible.Im told transmission is ored and will be in that following Fri and car would be ready within 2 days after transmission arrives.I called the following Tuesday to see if car was ready, im told no transmission and to give it til the following week(no transmission).I proceed to tell them that if my car isnt going to be fixed by the next date that i will be taking it elsewhere.The next date came i called and there is still no transmission.I go to the autoshop and request for vehicle to take elsewhere and im told the transmission has been dropped and i cant take it or i have to pay.Contacted Escambia County Sherriffs office and had an officer come to shop.The Manager and Justin then tells the officer that they ordered a Transmission it came in they put it in the vehicle and the transmission went bad after driving a few blocks, so they had to order another. The officer asked them to track transmission while we're there.Justin calls a scrap yard on speaker which stated they do not provide tracking numbers and the transmission was on a shuttle in Montgomery and would arrive on Thursday. Now its Friday and i call just to see if Transmission arrived and an oriental lady answers the phone and says theyre waiting for transmission to be sent by warranty company now. Prior the manager told me that they didnt allow outside parts to be sent by warranty supplier. I called warranty company to see whats going on and i was informed that they called to see if Transmission was still available to be shipped.The rep tracked the item and delivery date set 05/15/2023. So,i called Bobby Likis back on the 23rd to see if Transmission had arrived and if car is ready. Im then told they're waiting for warranty company to send another transmission. I called warranty company on Yesterday 06/01/2023 and i was told that on 05/25/2023 the auto shop stated that they have misplaced the transmission that was sent by warranty supplier. I have not physically seen my vehicle since drop off. The auto shop submitted 10 hours of labor which means i was only approved for 2 days of rental reimbursement. Now I am ineligible for rental reimbursement due to contract being put on hold until auto shop comes up with transmission sent by supplier. Ive lost my job due to lack of transportation, I'm still responsible for the car payments, insurance, and warranty payments .I was told that i would receive a callback and i still have not heard from anyone at Bobby Likis since my call on the morning of 06/01/2023.

      We still customers car here and Warranty company suppose to send another transmission for second time but still they can't find used transmission so we can replace it . Warranty company has declined to put new transmission.  Our hands in the shop are tied in this case . If they supply transmission we will replace it , no problem .

      In the mean time Bank called the shop and they said they will reposes the car . 

      Resolution is not up to us .

      I am rejecting this response because: Bobby Likis Auto service still has not provided any documents showing that Transmission was returned to supplier.Supplier still does not have proof return request.Vanessa states she gave Transmission to delivery driver but can't explain how driver knew to pick Transmission back up for return and can't provide name of driver.

      My truck is brand new and in perfect condition I have a steering box issue with too much play in the wheel meaning the steering box was bad they replaced the steering box 4 times without checking it to see it was a faulty box from the factory then they told me it was a bunch of other issues that need to be fixed to fix the problem ended up spending over $6400 got the truck back there was more play in the wheel than when I first brought it in! After they aligned it I took it straight to the tire shop down the street and put five brand-new tires on it it cost me over $1500 I told him it needed to be good so I can drive to California to get the rest of my belongings to bring back to Florida because I'm retired and I'm on Social Security disability and that my funds are very limited, we only made it 1400 miles and both front tires went bald I had to change the tires in 114° temperature on the side of the freeway I finally made it to my destination which was 2000 miles to California from Florida I had a professional at Les Schwab recheck the alignment he said that they did it way wrong with the toe being too far out and that's what wore my tires out and put my gas mileage from 15 miles a gallon down to nine which cost me thousands of dollars in fuel I ended up spending $740 for two new tires and have the alignment done the right way when I contacted Alex at Bobby Likis all he said was that he would give me $400 in-store credit and that is it !!!! And there's no way in hell I would let them touch my truck again because they cost me a fortune replace things that were not broken did not fix the problem and charge me a ton of money and not willing to correct the issue and admitting that their mechanics worse was terrible I've been a mechanic my whole life and I've never had somebody ripped me off of this amount of money very unprofessional business, and the minute people put a bad review on any one of their website they erase it immediately which should be against the law!!

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/22) */ From the beginning truck had multiple issue and truck from the factory came with multiple issue as dodge has technical bulletins on it , and dodge has no resolution to suspension problem From the start customer did not want to pay original dealer part and that's where we had problem from beginning . Anyways, tires on the truck were worn out and customer was advised that after mechanical repair we are doing alignment with old tires and he needs to get new tires and re-align the truck. the truck was entire mess when came in and we did bunch of free work and labor to help him get out of trouble with this truck. Customer was given computer print out of alignment with old tires . He went elsewhere and he replaced tires and he did not do alignment with new tires . He also mentioned that he towed heavy trailer which also affects tires and alignment. We are not responsible for his new tires or alignment . We did not install tires and he had to align the truck after putting new tires . As of courtesy I offered him store credit for $400 but he declined it . Business response was a blatant lie. Truck did not have any additional issues. The steering box with excessive play was the only issue presented clearly and specifically to Alex. Alex was also presented with the fact that I am on social security / disability and have limited income, however it was of the utmost importance to fix the steering box the most Effective and prompt as possible. The said vehicle is in fact a 2019 3500 Dodge Ram that's worth approximately 90 thousand dollars. This vehicle has been meticulously cared for and serviced at every Single required service needed regularly. It was all highway miles, and it was never used to haul very heavy items, the incident occurred hauling an empty trailer 1400 miles into the trip the tires were completely bald. Attached paperwork shows Les Schwab tire showed that the tow out on the alignment was wrong and excessive which caused the damage. The truck was brought in for an excessive play in the steering box which was never resolved not including tire damage and realignment it was $6,400 in repairs done and the original problem the truck was brought in for was never resolved, Les Schwab tire specifically told me that the tires have nothing to do with the alignment the alignment machine goes on the rim of the truck it's self, when they did the alignment and put new tires on it the truck went the whole distance back from California with no wear to the tires whatsoever which in fact proves that they're alignment Machine was not the correct machine to do the alignment, and as I researched it after this problem, come to find out they don't even have a business license! My daughter researched it come to find out Alex erased multiple bad reviews on their service.. in an attempt to hide all the unsatisfied customers. All I'm asking for is a refund when I return the incorrect steering box that was installed and reimbursement for the two tires that had to be replaced and the alignment that had to be redone due to their negligence. I've already paid over $6400 to have the steering issue resolved which to this day still has not been corrected and for that amount of money the problem should've been resolved. I will be sending photos of all receipts of tires alignment and all the work that he did on the truck and what the total cost was like I said I just want to be reimbursed when I return the steering box which was a little over $700 and the alignment and two tires were for $716.25 it would not allow me to send pictures of all receipts and print out from the alignment Machine, and total breakdown of everything that was spent with no services rendered correct please let me know when I could send it to all the information Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/07/28) */ I am sorry but I will not enter this drama .       July 28 2021, I went to Bobby Likus to redeem a Groupon that I had paid for to have all 4 of my brakes changed. At their advice also had the front two rotors replaced. A few days after the work was done went back because it was making a noise and they said it was normal because they were new. Now having even more noises and went back to them and I was told that there is no history in their computer of them working on my car and would not help me at all. They showed me the screen where they had my name, address, and vehicle information, but no work ever done. I have bank statements and receipts from Groupon when I paid and redeemed the voucher. Order #1000-136775-534308, paid $161.19.

Her phone number **************** We did not charge her any money . I also checked our merchant account and I could not find Groupon ticket under number provided from customer. We did not redeem Groupon voucher under that number or this customer name . Shows no record . If customer paid Groupon for voucher and it was redeemed by mistake , customer needs to contact Groupon to cancel it and get refund .
