On December 12, 2023 , I reached out to set an appointment with Denae ***** Owner of Tru Glam Salon LLC for a set of small knotless braids as she was running a special for $290 . in which i was instructed to send a deposit to her cash app ($truglamsalon860 in the amount of $30 to be deducted from the total balance that was due at the time of service i sent the deposit on the morning of December 13, 2023 and the appointment was set for December 16, 2023 @ 230pm in which i arrived on time despite the fact she did not give me the shop location information I had to call someone who had been before to get the address because she also was not responding or answering her messenger calls. She took about 7.5 hrs to complete my hair in which i tipped an extra $20 for her time. after Denae completed my hair i felt the top of my hair with my hand and asked why it felt as though my braids were not laying correctly she explained that they needed to lay a certain way in which I went with it . over the next day i worked all that day so the following day Decemeber 18, 2023 I reached out to Denae again to explain to her that I still was not satisfied with my hair. She then stated that she would squeeze me in after christmas to fix my hair , in which I did not get an appointment date or anything . It wasnt until Jan 3rd when i finally just asked for a partial refund becuase i no longer wanted to be serviced by her . Denae has denied my partial refund request on cash app to get the matter resolved. And has not responded at all to me via social media to resolve the matter . there has been no contact from her but her friend Nicole Bonner has reached out to threaten myself and my mom regarding the matter . ALthough she nor my mom have anything to do with this situation. I had to block her but still no contact from Denae ***** to resolve the situation.
