I decided to refinance my vehicle against my better judgement with pen air. During the process they asked for various different documents including insurance and I provided them all. Months later; I get an email stating I don’t have insurance or proper insurance. The next pay day, I switch policies to accommodate the refinance and ensure I have “proper insurance”, I use the link they provided showing I switched policies, and not only that upon speaking to them directly informed that I updated my previous policy various times before switching to accommodate what they require. I go to a branch to make my first loan payment and see that it was a “partial payment” and became instantly confused! Five days later they add 1327.00 to my loan, I call obviously upset crying because I haven’t ever been late on a loan payment. The woman with whom I spoke with was pleasant and assured me she would have everything resolved and we would follow back up on Friday. I called back on Friday to just to be met with the fact she was out and to my dismay instead of them crediting my account fully they credited a partial amount. As of this morning I spoke with a representative and was met with the insult with oh we’re assuming you let your insurance lapse! I’m very upset as someone new to pen air I have been met with worst service in this regard! I’m looking for another company to refinance with. I will send them their documents that they “need” to prove my case which I should not have to do at all- but that will be it for me. I have had to take 3 hours now in total out of my days to accommodate an error on their part if it wasn’t the proper insurance why not inform at the time of the refinance!

This institution advises wrong information, seemingly strong-arming your assets. Even a number of representatives have voiced unconventional tactics. My vehicle was taken and my savings account has been blocked for no legitimate reason. I was only allowed to pay through one account representative, but she NEVER returned any of my calls. I called no less than 6-7 times a days for a week straight to pay. That Sunday night, my vehicle was gone. When it was taken, with only 4 payments left, representatives could talk to me. I was advised that it was already sold. I was flabbergasted. The rep said that I should have received a letter. I received the letter a week and a half later. I asked about my belongings, she had to research the towing company. This unprofessional act was by design to possess my vehicle, sell it, and recoup a monetary gain.

David the manager closed my account and threatened to right a check out for my remaining funds, all over a misunderstanding… he then proceeded to call the police and make a false report.. after being interrogated nothing could be done because no laws were broken.
