On or about 2/14/22, I submitted a service request for Ramsey, AnyDayDJ for my 60th birthday event on 4/16/22. In the request, I specifically requested Ramsey ***** and stated he was the dj at my son's wedding reception and we enjoyed his music. On 2/15/22, I received a quote and contract from Melissa *****. On 2/16/22, I spoke with Ms. ***** to clarify a few items in the contract and felt comfortable enough to sign the contract and pay $450,00 in full. Later, I received a "homework assignment" as to what music, lights, and services I'd like; to which I completed and returned. On 4/12/22, I emailed Melissa ***** and asked when would I hear from the dj to discuss final plans for my event. She responded that "Britton" will be in contact with me. I immediately responded that I don't know anything about someone name Britton, that I was expecting ******. Ms. ***** called and stated that ****** was available but at a higher of an extra $200 or $200/per hour. I expressed to Ms. ***** that I had requested ****** from the beginning and I was never told anything about a different dj. She responded that her contract refers to dj and associate. I challenged her to say I don't see that language in my contract and it was not mentioned when I requested ******; and her website only has one dj, ******. There was no indication on their website, by the *****s or their contract that someone else would dj my event. The dj service was terrible. Immediately following my party on 4/16/22 thru 4/25/22 I contacted anydaydj to discuss. ****** finally called back on 4/29/22 and restated what Melissa said about the contract says dj or associate. My contract does not say an associate. Most importantly, there are no associates listed on the website nor was it ever discussed until four days before my event. I requested a 50% refund and ****** stated he would discuss with his wife and return my call. I have yet to hear back or receive my refund.
