      This complaint is over a $168.00 bill that was sent to collections. My wife, Stacy and I have been customers with Clarkson Eyecare for years, and have probably spent thousands of dollars during that time. We have always paid by credit card when we leave, we usually spend 6-8 months a year out of country, but have cell/text availability everyday. When we got back, to our shock, we found out Clarkson had sent us to collections over $168. We never received a call or text saying we owed any money. Obviously, we are very upset about this, and will not be paying any collection agency. Tori, the office manager at Clarkson knows our situation well, and has told us they have sent our information to corporate several times, and has talked to her district manager about it. In full disclosure, our issue is with the corporate office, not Tori, or the Gulf Breeze office staff. They have tried to help us in this matter. We were even told there was a complete computer system change during this time and there were glitzes and downtime involved. We posted a 1 star review of their website site 4/26/22. We received a email from Cassie ******* saying how sorry they were, and would be getting back to us. After two more follow up emails with NO response, we decided to file a formal complaint with you. This is totally unacceptable by their corporate office (Cassie ******** not to respond to us at all.

      I ordered and paid for two pair of glasses. I only received one pair of glasses. The one pair of glasses that I received are identified as TF 2169. The vision care insurance from VSP cost was 779.84. My patient responsibility was 178.20. I paid Clarkson Eye Care of Gulf Breeze a total of $288.20 for two pairs of glasses. Clarkson eye care did not provide the second pair of glasses, yet they have continued to bill me for two pairs of glasses. Clarkson Eyecare of Gulf Breeze owes me a refund of $110.00. They reported this to a collection agency and never took the time to contact me or resolve this issue. I repeatedly reached out to their billing dept and was told they were looking in to it and no one contacted me.

The office manager of this location has tried to reach out to this patient on several different occasions regarding this patient's glasses but has not heard back from the patient. We encourage this patient to return the request for a call back to the manager of the Gulf Breeze location so we can help her with this problem. I have one missed called from Clarkson EyeCare on Nov 30 at 10:43 am, in which Tori left a voicemail stating she was calling about an email. I called Clarkson back on Nov 30 at 11:19 and asked to speak with Tori and was told she was with a patient and would call me back. I called again on Dec 3 at 3:48 pm, I have not received a return call to date. This issue has not been addressed or resolved by the company. The District Manager of this location has tried connecting with this patient multiple times but has been unable to connect with her. We encourage this patient to return the call to the District Manager and if possible, leave a voicemail with the time and day that works best for a discussion. We also can be reached at our corporate number at 636-227-2600 and our front desk staff will be happy to relay a message to the District Manager of this location. We remain committed to resolving this patient's issue and thank them for their feedback.
