Our first experience with this company was great. The employee was nice, and did a thorough clean of our pool. Our chemical levels were good, so nothing was added. The second visit, however, was not a pleasant experience. It was a different employee from the first. He stayed for a total of 15 minutes, and barely provided any cleaning. The company charges by service, not time. However, if chemicals are needed (as well as a full cleaning) it will take longer than 15 minutes. When he left, the pool still had a significant amount of dirt and debris on the side walls, both steps, and floating on top. The employee also added 3 bags of shock and a chlorine tablet in the skimmer. We have a functioning chlorinator, so if a tablet was needed, it should have been added there. If you put tablets in the skimmer, the tablets will dissolve and form highly acidic water. If done repeatedly over time, this can also cause the skimmer system itself. The chlorine level is now testing extremely high. If a pool is low on chlorine, once it is added and shocked, the testing level will show as normal once it has settled… not high. We were charged the normal $50 cleaning fee, and an additional $28 for the chemicals added. We then later decided a refund is mot needed, since they did use the chemicals. We decided to cancel service, and let the company know what happened, so other customers will not be charged for under-cleaning and unnecessary chemicals being added. The reply we received back was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. It implied multiple times we don’t know what we are talking about, and overall was very disrespectful. A simple google search proves there are many issues that can come of placing chlorine tablets into your skimmer. If I am paying for a pool cleaner, I expect them to properly clean my pool where I don’t have to go behind them and fix it. There is a huge lack of professionalism. Really disappointing. Do not recommend.
