Premier Pools & Spas built a pool for us in 2022-2023, finished in January 2023. In February 2023, we noticed that several pavers had settled about a half inch from the others. We thought that might be normal settling and that would be the end of it. However it only continued to get worse. We started calling Premier Pools and Spas - Gulf Coast in December 2023 after we discovered that not only were the pavers settling, but the concrete below them had cracked and there was a huge hole next to the outside wall of our gunite pool. It was obviously due to defective workmanship and them not properly compacting the ground around the pool. The rebar and pool supports along with the fill pipes are clearly visible. The hole is at least a couple of feet deep. Maybe deeper. It is clearly a danger to anyone walking by. We called the pool foreman, Drew, and never got a response back. We called Jessica at the office twice only to be told she would contact the appropriate sub-contractor and have them get back to us. We never heard back from anyone. We are now in Houston, TX where my 71 year old husband is receiving medical treatment for his metastatic cancer at MD Anderson. We are unable to make repairs ourselves due to his age, illness and current financial obligations. I fear the stress over Premier Pools and Spa will only serve to make his health situation worse. I know there are laws in place to protect the elderly from unscrupulous contractors in Florida, especially those that take advantage of the elderly. I will be following up with the Florida Attorney General's office to see what assistance they are able to provide.. After having read the other reviews, I see that this is a consistent issue faced by those unfortunate enough to contract with this company. My advice to anyone thinking about hiring Premier Pools to do anything at all for you would be RUN not walk away as quickly as possible.
